So i updated my Vodafone UK ATCT to Stock ATD3 and the autofocus feels a lot faster even battery life feels improved i never had none of that green tint issue but i felt my Battery drain so fast and heat up on ATCT but the issues i was facing seems to have gone away after i updated to this version. Anyone else had any decent results from this version?

At present, China's unique Galaxy S20 series TD1 firmware has significantly improved the fingerprint recognition experience and changed the fingerprint entry logic. This is an update worthy of your expectations.

Four days after updating the TCT firmware, China updated the Galaxy S20 series firmware TD1 again, once again improving the focus, HDR, and fine-tuning the transition animation. There are other improvements to be discovered.

Nice that looks really promising so we should see that in 2 weeks from now? Thank god i put the unlocked version of the firmware on my phone since it takes Vodafone UK ages to get the updates.

TD3 already out - the phone is still getting hot (not as hot) and battery is slightly better but problems still are
also i noticed the phone charges really slow after this update to the point where if you're using it while charging is actually not charging

Can I ask, when you installed the unlocked version did you do a wipe? I'm currently on Vodafone locked and can see the updates come a good week or two after BTU versions so I was considering doing the same, I did with previous Samsung phones I've owned. I've used Odin so I know what to do it's just been a while so thought I'd ask the question and if I'm right if I use Home_CSC that doesn't wipe does it?

I haven't noticed any charging issues but i do charge my phone slowly cause i have a theory having it charging fast can put more wear on the battery and give it a less life span but that's just me.

Yeah i did a full wipe this is the one i used from SamFW https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G988B/BTU/G988BXXU1ATD3 You're correct Home_CSC doesn't completely wipe it it's the CSC_OMC which completely does the wipe i did the CSC_OMC cause i wanted to make sure nothing was left on it when i did the unlocked firmware.

I didn't do this i just flashed the BTU version on to my Vodafone UK and got the update.
Flashing BTU file does not mean you will get the unlocked BTU software when it comes out before VOD. You will have to changed the csc in order to receive BTU update as VOD and BTU are from the same multi csc. Additionally changing the csc will get rid of any carrier apps, boot screen etc.

Noticed that still had the Vodafone app but i don't get no Vodafone splash screens which is good. But i didn't want to wait for Vodafone cause they take ages to dish out firmwares.

Look at where it says Software Provider Ser Ver. Note yours says VOD so you will still get updates from VOD and not BTU. Points to note mines was originally VOD but I have changed it to BTU and have received BTU update since.

Oh yeah noticed that :( so basically is there any issue with having BTU firmware on a VOD S20 Ultra?

I do feel the same. The performance with ATD3 has been much better than ever before (the battery life is just the same, although I feel like the standby drain is hugely improved).

The camera is finally able to focus accurately although still not as fast as those other phones with Dual PD PDAF, at least it is very accurate now. The performance though.. I'm not gonna lie that I do feel some lags before (especially on ATCT + numerous bugs like green tint on the camera app) but now it is flawless and I don't know why or how samsung fixed it.

With that being said, samsung should just stop making half-baked phones since that'll ruin their reputation in the future if they kept doing that. A proper software shouldn't come out months after launch like this.

ATBM: horrible autofocus, unreliable battery life
ATCH: not-so-good autofocus, some stutters in the transitions and animations
ATCT: still not-so-good autofocus accuracy, more stutters in the transitions and animations (a bit noticable), green tint on the camera app
    ATD3: flawless so far

Been awhile since I used odin to flash firmware.
I've got 02 uk phone and looking to flash stock samsung firmware are there any simple instructions to flash firmware? Appreciate help.
Link to latest firmware and odin.

I've included instructions with the link to Latest Odin Tool below you can get the firmware here https://samfw.com/ or from here https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/

    1. Extract (unzip) the Samsung firmware file. Recommended using WinRAR or 7-Zip

    2. Download Odin Tool 3.13.1

    3. Extract Odin ZIP file

    4. Open Odin execute file

    5. Reboot Samsung phone in Download Mode (Power + Volume Down buttons / hold Volume Up)

    6. Connect you Samsung phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin

    7. Add the 1 file Samsung firmware to AP/PDA or 4 files Samsung firmware (AP/BL/CP/CSC) to it's slots

    8. Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked

    9. Click the START button, sit back and wait few minutes

There is no boot animation, no carrier app, and its clean. I'm telling you with this new firmware battery drain is better.

You need to use samkey. You need to install on a laptop etc and buy credits. The best place to buy credits is ebay. It only takes 1 credit to change csc.

Just bought a Samkey from eBay £6 for 3 credits worked wonders i now have BTU :D
