S20 Ultra Fast charging/Super fast charging problem

Hi everyone,

Gonna expose my problem here maybe im just a little monkey who doesn't understand how fast charging/ super fast charging works for my Samsung s20 Ultra Exynos.

I've bought the phone 2 weeks ago, all worked well, in the begging I've remarked that fast charge is working with his 25w charger. After 5 days got like an update or something like that and since then the fast charging and super fast charging doesn't work anymore.

I've tried already : factory data reset, whipe cache, toggle untoggle fast charge/super fast charge setting, changing the charging bricks, changing cables. I always get that "Cable charging" notification and it takes like 2 hrs to charge from 20% to 100%.

Should I send it back into warranty ? Any explanations or maybe some advices to solve this problem ?

First, if you're phone is running fast, stable and fulfilling its mission, let it be!
Updates break Samsung's. Disable OTA updates.

Use known good charger/cable, buy another Samsung 25 w brick otherwise.
Fast charging will not engage if battery temp is too low or high at beginning of charge cycle.
Minimum temperature is 82F for reliable fast charging, 85-80F is better.
Screen must be off.
Try toggling fast charging on/off 3 times.
Try in safe mode.
Erratic charging is a sign of battery failure; is it's capacity still good?
Check rear cover for signs of bulging; any battery swelling is a Li failure, replace asap if so!

Tryed with 45w brick too, screen always off, did already the safe mode.. capacity is good .. Rear cover no signs of bulging .. guess it has some problems .. ill send it back ..

Meh, better safe than sorry...

See my ramblings here.but the bottom line - stay away from Samsung. Their battery issues started with S7 / Note 7 and we feeling the echos until now. But then again - if it's not a battery - it will be screen issues, if not screen then Wi-Fi ...
