I usually get 7h of SOT. Pretty good in my opinion after switching from an S9 with only 4h SOT. Exynos, 120Hz, WQHD+ all the time, WiFi mostly, BT/NFC/Sync/AOD/Location/Battery Saving Mode always off, Dark Mode 80% of the time, brightness mostly at 75%. I also disabled some apps with Package Disabler Pro but I'm not sure if it brings that much improvements.

Looking at some of the battery life most of you are getting definitely makes me think I've got an issue with my device.

I'm having to charge my phone in the middle of the day, had it for over a month now and it's been like this since day one. Am I charging too often?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

Avoid using Chrome. It's a battery hog on s21 ultra. I had to switch to Samsung internet due to the same reason

A few things to try, make sure data connection is not on 5G (i disable data 80% of the time as i have WiFi), make sure you have put apps you don't use into sleep or deep sleep. Then make sure you go to setting, apps (show system apps) and disable background data and battery use for apps you don't use often. Set adaptive refresh rate to on. Debloating a bit always helps. There is more to try but if you try the above and you don't see a noticeable improvement then we'll try something else.

I use Chrome but have it set to sleep, with no background data or battery use, and it's battery impact is way better.

See screengrab again, just over 6 hrs SoT over more than 2 days with 32% left, so will probably get to 9 odd hrs SoT over 3 days or so. Which means if i used my phone more intensely over a day or so if probably be around 11 to 12 hrs SoT, which is great.

Firstly get rid of chrome (it's broken), use Samsung internet as it's way lighter on the battery.

It looks like something is stopping your phone from sleeping on some of those graphs, chuck everything you don't need to deep sleep, or install something like GSAM that can tell you what's keeping it awake

Not sure if this will work for everyone but I decided to play around and change background process limit to 4 in developer options just to see what it would do. Anecdotally I'm seeing a pretty noticeable gain.

I'm WFH full time so my phone is almost always on wifi only but location off and all the battery saving mode/optimization features turned on. I also am using 60Hz refresh and FHD+.

Previously id usually get about ~2 days out of a battery this way but I'm on day 3 and still have quite a bit of battery left. I haven't gotten any firmware updates or uninstalled/changed any apps. Attached a second screenshot from a few days ago before the change to show the difference.

I don't think I have even managed 6 hours SOT so far. I have AOD on, highest res setting and adaptive refresh rate on too. Exynos device I'm pretty disappointed with it overall.

Same situation here , I barely manage to get 5-6 hours of sot with 1440p + adaptive + aod always on. ( no gaming or heavy tasks)
I am on 3rd day of my phone ..

May be with time it gets better .

For now I'm on the same boat.

Exynos model here. 4th day with the phone, it's currently absolutely bad for such a big battery and expensive phone.

Around 3h SOT yesterday, I was quite mad about that. No gaming, nothing intensive, but QHD 120HZ, (Well, I paid for those features so I want to use them !) and dark mode only by night. I applied all the classic optimisation stuff for apps, not even using AOD.

Maybe it will settle with time, I also find the phone phone bit warm...for now It's a big let down at that price.

Today I'm at 70% for 1h30 of SOT, it's better, but very far from what I expected with such a big battery. Again, maybe more time is required.

i have huge background usage on play services and nova launcher, anyway to stop this?
Delete cache of google play services, googlenplay store and google service framework. Then wipe phonecache and look again. Google play sometimes is a pain in the ass :D had a drain on my 7t pro and needed to factory wipe it cause nothing helped. My s21 ultra is good til now...

And that's even with Chrome munching your battery for 15 minutes of use, nice
I generally close out apps when I know I'm putting my phone down for a bit. It's a habit from older phones.

Last screenshot and was really worried about exynos but not on s21 ultra . Battery has been awesome

    I am at 23h, 4.30h SoT, 60% battery left

    Got it yesterday.
First it discharged very quickly after setup etc. I did use Smart Switch 🥴
    Now almost 24h, 5% left, SoT 10h29m

FHD+, wifi, mostly browsing and youtube/spotify (no gaming and wasnt taking lots of pictures). Didnt notice any excessive heat.
