Hi guys after owning the S22 Plus for a couple of weeks I pretty much got the jist that the laggy/stuttery UI is not connected to the phones performance, rather it is connected to the adaptive display and the way the phone tries to automatically lower/raise hz under different apps/circumstances.
I am using an app called Galaxy MaxHz and changed a couple of variables. I pretty much told the phone to use 120hz most of the time (I think some apps are hardcoded to use different refresh rates like the camera will always go down to 60hz), and when locking the phone the screen goes down to 24hz.
After telling the phone to use 120hz (much like my older S21 FE/S20 FE using 120hz at all times) the stutters are pretty much gone and it feels just as smooth as my older S21 FE/S20 FE phones both using Snapdragon processors. I am using the Exynos version.
So in conclusion it seems that the adaptive hz is causing a lot of stutter.
As for battery, I am not sure how this will affect things. I will keep an eye on things and report in a week or so after using it like this.
