Question S23 - call recording - possibility of changing CSC ?

VERY Good news:
Europe, Asia, MidEast, Africa, Oceania, South America, North America (without USA/Canada), regions will have same "B" models - SM-S911B/SM-S916B/SM-S918B.

No "E" model found in lot of pre-order shops I checked.
(It looks likes S21 series)

I hope CSC change still works! ;)

Maybe not good for USA (U/U1), Canada (W), South Korea (N) and China (0) regions users.

I'm inpatient to receive my new s23 ultra and changing the CSC for call recording. Let's hope SEK csc will work as it was on s22 ultra (EUX to SEK)

It will probably be better to use INS this time (called, callerID, spay)

The question is how are the functions in the galaxy watch :)

Got my 23 ultra today changed to THL since that has worked for me before. Seems to work fine. Call recording enabled and text call enabled.

Now lets hope OTA is unaffected i dont care about spay, i use google pay.

So the USA CSC codes are separate still? I wonder if EU CSC codes can be used on US models.. maybe after fw flash?

I wonder if it would be possible to flash B model firmware on U/U1/W, since it is technically the same hardware

How did you changed to THL?

I have tried using a THL sim, like we used to do it in Note10+, but it did not triggered anything ...

Much appreciated!

    Hi , this is not true. If you are on SEK , ILO , INS etc, you will have call recording. IF you changed back to your initial PHE , you will stop have call recording and return to your initial situation. So , you need to stay to the appropriate CSC in order to have CR

    To the question if OTA updates will be available after csc change, I just confirmed that I received the first update through OTA. Csc is ILO (initial was EUX).

    Yes , I used samfw for first time in my s23 ultra. The procedure is very easy and safe. I tried INS but then I changed to SEK for the reasons I explained before.
    In short:
    1. You enable ADB in your phone
    2. You download samfw to your windows PC and run it.
    3. Connect your s23 ultra with the PC through a cable.
    4. Run samfw , and press Tab adb in the program (it is the third tab in the upper place of the app).
    5. You will see a pop up menu with all available XOM multi- csc .
    6. Choose and right in the appropriate box the one you want (INS ,SEK etc).
    7. Press "change csc"
    8. It will appear a prompt saying dial *#1234#* (or something like that ) while the screen of your phone is looking like being in check mode( like the one you have in Samsung Member app when you want to make a check for some function).
    9. That's it. In seconds you have your new scs without data wiped!
