I have been reading every report and waiting patiently for details. Everything is now pointing to a quad core Exynos with a Mali 400 (clocked higher obviously). I will be disappointed if that is the case. I was hoping for some A15 love with the Exynos 5250 and updated Mali t604 cores :(

Then again, every report points to the i9300 which is supposed to be the nice new mid range device, not their flagship phone. Samsung wants to crush the iPhone 5 this year so here's to holding out and hoping we get the 5250 with that tasty new GPU!

Want:
Dual core A15 Exynos 5250
Updated Mali t604 GPU
Integrated LTE
720P Samoled HD+
MicroSD slot

Do Not Want:
Quad core Exynos 4412 processor
Overclocked Mali 400
1080P screen (rumored)

I highly doubt that is the gs3 seems more like the mid range phone that I think Verizon is suppose to get. If that's the galaxy s3 you can sign me up for the HTC one x.

in a related note, samsung officially announced tonight that the "next galaxy" will be powered by the exynos 4 quad
You're forgetting one thing. There is no embedded LTE on the new Exynos4 according to their announcement (which would be a pretty huge point to make). Which means networks like AT&T that is trying to push its new LTE market, wont have a powerhouse phone like this unless it has LTE. So this means that AT&T will swap out the Exynos4 processor for the (probably) S4 Krait dual core with LTE.

Was just about to post something about only having dual core processor. That may be a deal breaker. I was excited about quad core but then again. At&t stayed pretty true to the international gs2 which I believe was a good move. And then came out with the skyrocket LTE as a separate model that didn't seem to catch on. I hope at&t adopts an " if it ain't broke don't fix it" business model. Then again. I'm not a business major, and I may be wrong. Makes sense to me though :D:p
