Thanks to everyone that helped me with the info I was looking for and the instruction's on how to use Mobile Odin, it worked like a charm. You guys and maybe some gals are awesome.

Don't use the Rom Manager. Just reboot into recovery and go from there.
If I just buy the touch recovery from rom manager (tmobile) will it support ext sd card? I keep hearing some ppl say it does and others no. I'm confused. Because as of right now with the normal updated recovery from rom manager it doesn't support external sd card and I can't backup or flash anything from there

Does the touch recovery have the same features as the non touch recovery? I'm on sprint by the way.

This new recovery and. 6 version don't work with external sd card for me. But. 5 worked fine. This is bogus.

Check the earlier posts... There are also zip files that can be flashed.. But they don't stick.... Take a look at the earlier posts in this thread... Not much help... But the answers are in here...

Still the wrong backup date and I have the latest.
Ugh. Okay I have flashed5.8.4.7 touch thru mobil odin and (.img) and thru cwm (zip) and it is not touch! Re downloaded twice. Back ups work and it reads internal and external sd. Why is my touch not touch? Any suggestions?

I just installed touch about an hour ago.
I renamed the file to recovery.img
Installed mobile odin
Installed odin plugin
Opened odin and selected choose file
Selected the recovery.img
Then flashed
It rebooted and went into touch recovery
I rebooted it 4 times and made a backup just to make sure it stuck and it did

And yours is touch? Mine stuck, but I still have to use buttons

No. I have 5.8.4.7 installed. But touch isn't working it installed easy.

Ah hell. I had it the whole damn time. I feel so stupid. I operator error. My boy can't stop laughing at me. For the record, skyrockett and gs3 touch cwm do not work the same
