If it is new. You need the bill copy and take it to samsung. They will rectify it.

Hi guys,

I have the GT-I9192 with Stock 4.2.2 - Build number JDQ39.i9192DDU1BLM1. A gift from a friend in India. Unopened package.

I have the same issue - or lets say i thought its related to the heat. On summer days CPU went up to 50°C+

In heavy apps (e.g. Waze) or after some use time (5min+ Skype) it just restarts suddenly... I cant say anything about games.

Sometime even during the restart it will restart again and again. So only thing to solve it is to take out the battery and wait for some time.

This was pissing me of a lot. Too much.
So i thought maybe a custom ROM might help. CM or something well known. So suddenly i saw this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2790789

As i am complete Noob i just tried it - but i had a lot errors befor flashing worked. These errors were wrong MD5s, no "serranodsub" device ... and so on.
Finally (after i tried more then 10 combinations) i used Odin3 v3.07 + philz_touch_6.09.3-serranodsub.tar.md5 + cm-11-20140629-NIGHTLY-serranodsxx.zip and until now its running really smooth.

Waze no more issue, Skype I try for longer time in the evening and report back in. But until now i m quite amazed.

BTW: maybe this is off topic as the heat is still the same  but i am new and cannnot post in development topics :cowboy:

Bad thing is that i sit in Germany and all i read about this is that samsung dosnt offer international support.

Still have this issue now but it reduced a lot since i put CM on it.

Anyone has an idea what they do at samsung? can it be done by myselve? might downclocking the CPU help?

Thanks for any suggestion....

OK this stuff is confusing.

- I downloaded CPUSET and made a initial stresstest. CPUTemp went up to 71°C, than device restart issue comes. Usually this comes already around 50°C. (when using Video+skype, waze...)
- I switched max CPU from 1728MHz to 1134MHz. First stresstest went good. Second time same settings restart issue after one minute at 60°C.
- I switched max CPU to 810MHz. Temp around 58°C. 2x stresstest and restart issue again..

I wonder why the temperature difference is that low... and i have no clue what to do next ...

is there anyone having a idea what can cause these crazy restarts? Is there anything like memtest for CM/Android?

I am waiting for their warranty to work, the cellphone was never used since I bought it one month ago. I'll let you know how it went.

This model is faulty, in my company we bought 70 phones 20 of them had came back for warranty.

Overly overheating

Friends my CPU reaches temps of 75 Degree C and Battery upto 55 Degree C while playing even mild games like Clash of Clans and Subway Surfers.
