Hi,by wiping for 4 partitions you mean from the recovery ,wipe data/factory reset,cache and dalvik ?Don't forget to wipe all 4 partitions before flashing anything (even with Odin). If flashing a home version of firmware with odin doesn't help, try flashing a 4-files service version, that will make your phone as stock as it gets. I think there's an actual solution for this problem I saw somewhere too (maybe even on this forum), try more searching.
Yes. For some people wiping chace helped revive the buttons, but it ca also be a mechanical damage. you can addHi,by wiping for 4 partitions you mean from the recovery ,wipe data/factory reset,cache and dalvik ?
its not a mechanical damage the phone always worked until the update.i heard it might be the fw of the buttons that can be displayed when dialingYes. For some people wiping chace helped revive the buttons, but it ca also be a mechanical damage. you can add
"qemu.hw.mainkeys=0"
to /system/build.prop to have onscreen software buttons for now that should at least make the phone usable.
I don't know if this will fix it but you could try the "Touch key FW Update" Option. Maybe this will work.its not a mechanical damage the phone always worked until the update.i heard it might be the fw of the buttons that can be displayed when dialing
