Campulung.
Hello, I recently bought a second hand S5, the problem is I noticed that a little part of the upper screen (Where status bar is and under) looks much whiter than the rest of the screen which looks yellowish, down there are some photos of the problem.
Is there any way to fix this? Like those play store apps to fix Amoled burned screens, do they work on our S5? Is there any chance them to work on my problem? I've readed some people got it worst but many others fixed their phone..

Thanks.

Yep...I have the same burn in pattern as you....Most of the screen has 'yellowed' over time apart from the area where the status bar is.
Unfortunately, you're going to have to learn to live with it....just as I have.
Those playstore apps are useless at best.
The only thing that fixes burn in is to replace the screen.

I see, thank you very much for your answer! Then, do you know any way to make the whole screen look yellowish? I'd like to make the whole screen look the same.. I noticed the yellowish just because I compared, but in other way I won't notice it... Now I'm really thinking that inverting the colors and using the "AMOLED Burn-in Fixer" app could do the trick as is keeps on the pixels of the status bar... but I'm not sure if this will make it look yellowish or not...

Thanks.

Yes...burning in the status bar pixels to match the rest of the screen will make the overall burn in less noticeable. If the burn in app you mention can concentrate on the status bar area then it should help....
But bear in mind that this fix (if any) won't happen overnight. The burn in takes a fairly long time to become noticeable, so the app is going to require a proportionate length of time to apply the 'fix'.
The same logic could be applied to inverting the screen colours. It should work, but will not be instant....and tbh it's going to look *real* weird while doing so.

Just to clarify....
The area that has yellowed, is the area of the display that usually displays the image, and the area that hasn't yellowed (the status bar) is usually darker. By using the burn in app or inverting the screen colours, you are accelerating the burn in process on parts of the screen that currently don't have as much. In effect what you are doing is giving the whole screen a more unified yellowed effect.
