I guess its time to buy a newer phone then? I'm using S7 edge and S10 Plus side by side everyday. S7 edge battery efficiency and longevity just can never match with the newer phone. By the way, I've bought this 2nd hand S10 Plus from online and its relatively affordable. Is the matter of wanting more out of this old S7 edge and not getting any or just move on with a new device. Both ran the same apps and I see the battery drop incredibly quickly on the older phone. But is a joy to use with the One ui interface. I feel at home using both phone back to back and it feels familiar. Might try installing One UI 2.0 or 2.1 roms into this s7 edge later for the sake of the same interface.

but my recommendation would be download the latest firmware using this app SamFirm_v0.3.6 and install complete stock rom.

No, they are for 935 models and they are too old. Check your model firmware on sammobile(Google it) or phoneinfo app from playstore

I dont think there are any such requirements to get ur bootloader and modem up to date. If I remember correctly, we use TWRP Recovery menu to delete the 'Data' partition and then we install this ROM from the same TWRP menu and let it do its magic. If it comes to the bare minimum, I guess its the one ur phone should be already with the required bootloader and modem if you come from stock ROM. :fingers-crossed:

Hope your installation is smooth. If there is any error after ur 1st installation, just reflash again the rom and tick according to what you've ticked previously. I corrected my installation multiple times with this method. Examples are missing wifi-direct option, I reflash. Missing edge panel, reflash again. Usually reflash will fix most of the issues.
