Depends on what you value more.. do you want speed, fluidity, stock Android, and development or do you prefer waterproofing, wireless charging, and a great camera?

If you've SBI card go for S7 and if you have HDFC card go for oneplus 5.
If you don't have any of them, go for S7 as it will also come with earphones and is cheaper.
Also you can buy using PhonePe or Amazon pay to get cashback!

Depends on your budget and on your tastes... If you want a stock like experience choose 1+5, otherwise if you prefer the samsung experience choose s7... If you like modding i think 1+5 is better... In my personal opinion i will never choose a Samsung, rather i would prefer a Nokia

Im having sbi card... Im concerned about durability... One thing resisting me to buy s7 is that we have to press home button foe fingerprint unlocking..whereas in op5 we have double tap plus fast fingerprint lock...whats you guys think...will this matter in daily use

Honestly this isn't even a comparison for me.

1+5.

Never buy a last gen phone over any next gen, regardless of the device, it will always offer substantially less.

However if a massively bloated system and efuse chip with problematic aftermarket development is your thing then grab that S7.

If you would prefer the lighter, faster, more powerful and overall smarter device with a superb aftermarket dev community then the Oneplus 5 is the one for you.

In regards to all these comparisons there really isn't anything at the moment that comes close to the 1+5, maybe the pixel might be in with a shout but I highly doubt it'll be substantially better in any department.

short answer, 1+5 100%

OnePlus 5 is 1000 times better in regards to speed of unlocking. You don't even have to think about it when you pull it out of your pocket.

S7 is annoying in that regard. I've had both and actually sold my S7 for the OnePlus 3.

The OP5 is better if you are into flashing and modding your device. But Samsung has a history of building very durable phones. I've never owned a Samsung phone that died before I was ready to replace it. I don't think OnePlus phones have comparable build quality and that they make obvious compromises so they can put flagship hardware in a lower priced device. You should also consider that when making your choice. And while people frequently refer to OnePlus phones as almost stock that's based on the phone not having a heavy handed UI like Samsung. But OOS is not stock Android whatever the UI and it has more bugs than any stock OS I have ever come across. It's more like a good custom ROM than the rock solid stock you normally expect to find on a phone.
