Is there any way I can get s8 clock widget without root. I'm on nougat

So were you able to figure out how to install the s8 widget to the tab s2? I hate accuweather and I want to change the weather widget to the s8 widget app. I followed the instructions to load the s8 apk's but when I try to install them after i downloaded them, I get an error that says failed because the apk is corrupt?
