YEP IT DOES WORK AFTER WIPING DATA. NICE AND SMOOTH Still old icons though.

You need to wipe data if you get package error, after wipe it works fine.

Why you root your phone if you're even not able to replace a system app?

BTW, as already confirmed, it does work on S7E w/o root (even w/o wipe data), but i still prefer action launcher.

Works great N920T Note 5 Nougat

Please be aware that you lose Flipboard panel option on the left swipe! Also lose the ability to change home to different launcher from settings but you can temporarily open a different launcher from app drawer until the home button is pressed.

Is there any way to install it without wiping the data and without root. It's too annoying to backup files and wipe data.

Works perfectly on my s6 edge g925i with noble rom 1.2 android 7.0, installed the apk as an update and everything works fine, with my icons position intact.

if normal install not work you need root or custom recovery installed

Works fine on my S7E with the latest 7.0 update, unrooted. I had to wipe the app data though because it would constantly crash.
