Something I just discovered, if you leave the front facing camera on it's zoom setting rather than the original wider view, it reduces the maximum resolution from 8mp down to 5.2mp, to get 8mp back again you must switch to the wider view

Yes, I noticed the same thing when I got this feature on my device...

No, I don't think we were able to do this, the "default" angle of view was 68° as the changelog says with march update. Or I may have not seen this setting...

I feel like there was when it first arrived, I have a vague memory of deciding to leave it on the zoomed setting but can't remember well enough now to be sure, possible they removed it if it did ever exist

The setting "Remember last mode used" should really incorporate that too

Managed to get Edge Lighting when screen is Off working by uninstalling updates of the Edge Lighting app and then adding each app I want to use with it to the custom colours section of the Edge Lighting setting, at least the Samsung Messages seems to be working now anyway, have not received a WhatsApp message yet, the apps notification settings must be set to "Sound and Popup" too

EDIT - Doesn't work for WhatsApp, looks like only Samsung stock apps are working

What's new?just installed it but don't know if it's just a security patch.
What's new is a half baked camera and shockingly bad battery life again.

Oh and constant internet drops with WiFi and exclamation mark where you have to switch airplane mode on and off again. It really is fascinating how Samsung are ruining this phone experience.

Not really, the camera is very good, I experienced failed attempts in the first few minutes after installing the update, now it's great and I just love taking night shots with my S9, and the edge detection for the front camera live focus is almost perfect ! The only downside is the battery life...
