Battery life blows now I'm on 5 idk but I'd like to go back 3-4 updates for sure I guess that's what I'll do
Define "battery life blows" - How much SOT?
I'd rather fix the problem - Instead of reverting back to last year's security patch etc etc etc ?

Hunt down the latest U1 and Switch to that. I'm guessing when you pull up your battery stats that Android System process is #1 in battery usage besides screen on time. Every time I've used U firmware since Pie officially released I've had this problem. U1 doesn't have this issue and I still get OTAs. Depending on your carrier you may lose some functionality though(wifi calling, visual voicemail, advanced messaging). But for me I haven't missed those at all. Attached is a screenshot of my battery usage last week on U1.

The trick to get back on Oreo from the Pie leaks is kinda tricky but really easy. Weirdly, going back to the latest official Oreo build doesn't work. It'll flash, but won't boot. . . Fortunately I quickly found a way to get back on Oreo but it requires a bit of work. All the files needed can be found in the linked messages of this channel.

You'll need the following:
• Odin 3.13.1 (make sure you have the Samsung mobile USB drivers installed.)
• ARG8 Odin files (latest stock Oreo as of now)
• ARI6 OTA File (latest leak of stable Oreo; place the OTA on your SD card.)

Instructions:
1. Boot into download mode
2. Flash ARG8 within Odin using regular CSC (In Odin, turn off Auto Reboot in the options tab; Using CSC will wipe data but that's the only way it'll work. Sorry, you were warned not to flash Pie)
3. Once Odin has flashed ARG8, unplug your phone (make sure it says PASSES on the progress bar within Odin)
4. Hold VOL DOWN+POWER until your phone reboots. Once the screen goes black, relase the buttons and immediately hold VOL UP+BIXBY+POWER to boot into recovery mode. [Note: it'll say it's erasing or installing update, ignore that. The phone will then reboot after this.]
5. After booting into recovery on step 4, recovery mode will automatically try to reboot into the system. Before it can boot, do the same thing as step 4, boot into recovery mode. (VOL UP+BIXBY+POWER)
6. Once you're completely in recovery, select the Install Update from SD Card option and navigate to your ARI6 update zip. Now flash it like you did with the PIE leaks.
7. That's it, it'll reboot on it's own.

Hello I'm trying to revert back to Oreo so I can update to Android Q when it's released.

Can anyone please provide links where to find Odin and files?

While using Odin any settings I have to set or click radial buttons?

Thank you in advance :)

No idea why you want to revert back to Oreo - Or why you think that you would need to be running Oreo in order to even update to Q?

Odin is readily available from XDA (depends on whether or not you need Patched Odin) Or from Sammobile.com
You might also want to say which variant you have - ie: Include the model - F or W or U etc ?

Model: SM-G960U
Installed is build CSA5 I have not been able to receive OTA updates. Reading through the thread I need to go back to BRK2 then go to CSAB to get updates again.

That is outdated information. Find the most recent Pie build for U and flash it in Odin. I would backup your data first but aside from that you should be good to go.

Find latest build for Odin.
Get latest U firmware for Pie 960U.
Check box for CSC browse for the firmware and load it on the CSC tab. Flash and reboot device?

You need to flash all parts of the firmware(minus user data). And I STRONGLY advise a backup of all your data. Look in the s9 forums here for the Frija program. It's built to find and download the latest firmware for you and it has faster download speeds than anywhere else I've found.
