Nice ROM, Thanks Dev!

Do voice commands through G20S Air Mouse (or any other similar remote) work for anyone? For me, pressing the Mic button activates the voice command listening but my commands/speech/voice is not detected by the box (TX5-pro). I tested the remote on chromebook and the mic is detected without any problem.

thank for this rom I tink this is almost perfect. remote control app not working its pairing but noting is work just if app is open on the phone mic is working..
I wish this rom unrooted and remove some useless app more like stock android tv..
my device x96 q5x v.2.0 16293 when I was flash the rom first time its fail on %7 but when I try second time flashed perfectly..

I flashed the rom to my Nexbox a95x (2/16 Gb version). It works but now I can't flash other images again because the box will not be recognized by amlogic burning tool anymore. There is no reset button with this box. The only way to get to recovery is to plug USB to pc after pressing start flashing from.

But this can't be done anymore. Now I'm stuck with this Rom.

This issue was fixed in the recent releases and it shouldn't be happening.
You'll need to short circuit the NAND pins in order to flash it (it's really easy)

Just touch the pins with a pen or something and insert USB, you'll then be able to flash the ROM.

Hi,

thanks for this, running well on my old M8sII box!

i am having some problems to install some of the UK catchup apps however, the only one i can get to install is 'My 5' none of the others show in the play store when searching on my device. if i locate them on my PC in the play store it suggests they are not supported on the device. is there any possibility to add support, so i can have them as channels on the homescreen with details of availabe shows, like i have on my Toshiba TV?
the apps in question are;
BBC iPlayer
ITV Hub
All4
CBS Catchup UK
UKTV Play.

One questions, how I can set up my own default launcher? I instaled some, then in default apps I have set it up as default Home app, but still atvX's launcher is default.
Is there a way to change to some other launcher being default?

Just found out that the app drawer can't add all apps to favorites (youtube vanced). Another default launcher is an must have unless I am missing something?

which file did you use? I flashed both aml_upgrade_package_ap6212.img and aml_upgrade_package_multiwifi.img on my Mini M8S II (2/16 GB, Wi-Fi chip AP6212), but remote and Wi-Fi are not working, had to revert to version v2FF.

P.S. I also tried Aidan's Custom ROM (V6, Ampak AP6212) and everything is working fine.

Thes apps are only available on Android TV devices from Nvidia, firesticks and devices with Freeview play, the apps on play store you are talking about are the phone versions not TV, bbc iPlayer I have a TV version that works of you would like a copy (I pulled the app from the new Chromecast)

Hi, you can try a couple of things, I have a mini m8sll and for ATVx I had to use ampak WiFi buildin (I have AP6212a chip) so you can try that one

I Installed atvX-s905x_AP6XXX_buildin_v4.0.tar.xz and the WiFi now works fine, but the remote is not fully functional:



The repeat function is not enabled, so this is a problem when, for example, you have to scroll through a long list. Also, the "MOUSE" button, that should toggle between D-Pad and mouse, doesn't work.
Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Another question: I noticed that in several remote.conf files there is the parameter "repeat_peroid", should I rename it as "repeat_period" or it is better to leave it as is?
