I guess I'm fine with root. I'll just need to be careful what I copy and paste from roms. I have everything but the dialer pad. \m/\m/

I don't regret the move over to AT&T and I honestly don't care about the bootloader because I just wanted to theme my phone and I was able to do everything I wanted to do with it without the bootloader bring unlocked so I am good on that and I can use the flush Gordon app to flash zip files

You can say that again. Stock with root and xposed makes the phone truly customizable.

AT&T lte has been faster in all my tests.

I concur. I was on Verizon for over 16 years and just switched to A&T this past summer. Faster speeds, a bit cheaper, better coverage and better customer service. I'm not looking back.

I hate how arrogant Verizon has gotten. They are just resting on their laurels and act like it should be a privilege to be on their network. Screw that.

Verizon coverage and speed owns. Also, my family has been on Verizon forever and I have unlimited data.
I'm hoping safestrap will show up for att soon.
My LTE and coverage have been better virtually everywhere I've went with att compared to verizon. I have unlimited too since I've been with att since I got the first iphone.

FYI, now that the VZW Note 3 Safestrap is out there, I will continue to look at making Safestrap work under SElinux enforcing. This may however take some time to re-architect and test/debug.

I wasn't trying to play favorites or anything, I just wanted to get the "easier" (not easy) device done prior to taking on the selinux stuff.

As always no guarantees.

Can't wait to finally have a recovery option!

Always grateful for every second you spend on the project Hash. Please know that alot of people really do truly appreciate your hard work and effort. If you ever need anything, I'd be here to help even if it as something as little as beta testing!

AT&T hits another low making the SE LINUX Enforcing instead of Permissive. You would think it would be the other way around with Verizon doing that bs. They really wanna screw us sometimes.

I'm excited to see this come to our phone. I dug my defy out of my desk just to remember what it's like. Back then they called it second init. On the defy u could boot into second init menu. From there you had voltage control, overclock, all that. From there u could multi boot roms and recoveries. It had a ton of options. I really liked it.

Dude, I loved my defy. What an amazing dev community. Last time I checked they had 4.3 running on it. Would safe strapping be a way to run a custom recovery without tripping knox?

It is possible if devs can get around selinux being set to enforcing
