Most likely. Isn't our root method based on the MI9 software?

Agreed its like iOS 6 vs IOS 7 its all different. Another example is that MI1 root is different then MI9

FYI, now that the VZW Note 3 Safestrap is out there, I will continue to look at making Safestrap work under SElinux enforcing. This may however take some time to re-architect and test/debug.

I wasn't trying to play favorites or anything, I just wanted to get the "easier" (not easy) device done prior to taking on the selinux stuff.

As always no guarantees.
Awesome, thanks in advanced for all the time you put into getting this for our ATT phones.

You probably know better than me, but changing selinux status is probably not an option. Selinux is set in the kernel and modifying the kernel will trip knox and possibly cause system to not boot due to the hash generated failing to pass checks because of the modification. Im sure you are aware of this. Hopefully a hook can be found after the checks are made to allow selinux to be temporarily disabled. It will need to be re enabled upon reboot most likely or the hash checks will be failed again during boot. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks for all your efforts

Did you try it to see if it would change it?

Awesome find if it does.

Upon reading more about the app it says it does not work with KNOX so unless you can use some information or tweak that app to work with KNOX I don't think it's going to happen... Sorry :(

Naturally, the app only works on devices with SELinux. In other words, this is only meant for devices running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or 4.4 KitKat. Of note, however, this does not yet work with Samsung KNOX-enabled devices. However, this is currently being worked on.
