SailfishOS on the Mi Pad 2 (latte).

Myself and eugenio_g7 are working at porting SailfishOS to the Mi Pad 2. Currently much is working, wifi, BT, audio, video playback, and also much is broken. Sensors work but are a little slow to respond, video playback is hardware decoded decoded, no camera (just like lineageos).

Instructions
Flash TWRP
Flash CM 13.0
Download the latest 'artifact' from the build server
Extract the flashable .zip from the artifact .zip
Transfer the flashable zip to the Mipad2
Use TWRP to flash SailfishOS
Reboot

Installed and looks like working smoothly on my Mi Pad 2. However, as I in travel now, can't connect to hotel's wifi login page, any workaround on this?
Anyway, this is great. New life for this old abandoned device :good:

usually, if a login page doesnt automatically appear, I visit a http website to get a redirect (https wont work) something like http://www.bbc.co.uk ?

Actually, thinking about it, a remaining issue is that the builtin browser doesnt work! ( just displays white) we havnt figured that out yet. if you install webcat from openrepos, and optionally the newer webkit library, you might be able to get the login page to display

hi, I installed the sailfish 3.01.11 on mi pad 2, unfortunately it does not make me work some netflix programs, and I wanted to restore from shell, but I can't. what is the command to give to restart the tablet in recovery twrp? thank you

Hi,
I cant install android apps at all. Even cant find the "Android support" app in the jolla store. I am new in Sailfish, maybe just some stupid mistake?
Would be so great to see another working rom on this device Thanks for your work, hope for more developement.
