Those who have issues installing drivers on windows 8, this is because these drivers are not digitally signed by MS, and win8 does not accept drivers that are not signed, unless you change it to.

Follow this guide and try again.

Cheers.

DO NOT UPDATE YOUR DEVICE! Your device is a I8370 while this is a I8750. YOU WILL BRICK YOUR DEVICE!!

No, absolutely not. Cross-flashing ROMs is almost always blocked, and for good reason; it's an *excellent* way to brick your phone. One of the only ways I know of to reliably brick a Windows Phone device, actually.

On the other hand, accessing the apps from other stores is actually easy; just use a proxy. There's a ton of information about this, on XDA and elsewhere. Please search before posting.

confused

When I look at my rom it says:

PDA = I8750XXBME1
PHONE = I8750XXBME1
CSC = I8750OXABME1
default CSC = BTU

so it says OXA is CSC, but also BTU......

Should I download and install the BME1 rom, and then choose BTU? :confused:

What is your reason to flash the phone?

The reason is, after installing all available upgrades and software from Microsoft and Samsung, somehow the camera no longer works. When I press the camera app it shows a black screen or goes back to home screen.

I called Samsung and they said it was because during the upgrade something went wrong and did not install the camera properly.

They said I can either send it of to a Samsung service bureau, or ask for a replacement where I bought it. As this phone is 1 day old, I don't really want to send it off to Samsung so they will flash the software. I also don't want to get a replacement as I most likely will end up the same after installing the updates.

Samsung said it is best to install the updates using zune...... :rolleyes: Zune does not work wth WP8, so that is not an option.

So I want to flash it myself and see if this fixes the camera. :eek:
