I will not install jelly bean even when it's available unless someone gets flash working on it. Otherwise it's really a downgrade for GS3. I mean Jb is fast and all, but our phone already is. The only thing to miss will be awesome voice search.

Almost every site out their now. I don't use mobile sites since they suck and youtubes app is a master troll. No flash, no jellybean.

Make a backup of flash with titanium backup or save the apk file and then install it later on JB. I had flash working without issue when I was using CM10

It's a shame that they could already be pushing JB out within the month (devs did it in their spare time already for free) but instead it will take them 6 months while they **** their UI all over it and then hand it off to vzw to cram some vcast up it's ass.

I hope Samsung doesn't do anything stupid like breaking JB to not include Google Now because it makes S Voice look like a Kindergarten Science Project.

As much as I despised how long it took Samsung and AT&T to get me updates for my original SGS, and as much as I told myself I'd never go through that again, I STILL upgraded to the SGS3. I won't be worrying myself with when these upgrades come this time around. Especially since the Gingerbread update for my original SGS completely F'd it in the A.

Whether or not we get it next week, next month, or 2 months from now doesn't make too much difference to me, with one exception. All of the devs will benefit from it, and then so do we

the one thing I'm really excited to see is how Samsung will crap and vomit on the JB interface because they did such a great job with ICS

Hopefully whenever it does make its way to the US the carriers wont drag their feet too much. Unlike all past phones of theirs, Galaxy S3 is just called Galaxy S3. That might put pressure on some of the slower carriers to not doddle around on it while the faster ones are bragging about their fancy Jelly Bean S3.

I'm pretty sure if the Galaxy S3 was called different names on each carrier, Verizon probably wouldn't have let you pre order it before their shared data plans kicked in because normal customers wouldn't have known it was just a Verizon branded S3. But being that all the carriers had to have the same phone Verizon would have probably lost customers in the month that the other carriers were offering pre orders on the S3.

So yeah, hopefully the pressure will make them at least try to update at the same time. Though I guess that didn't stop VZ from locking the bootloader so they could force you to buy new phones instead of updating it yourself after official support stopped.
