Samsung Dex (generic)

Running a Note 8 with Oreo and have a generic USB-C to USB dock that I got off of amazon and Dex is working great. Even bought a usb-c extension cable for it (just came today) and it all works brilliantly.

Which adapter are you using? I have a generic adaptor with a factory samsung tablet charger. The phone quick charges when plugged in to the charger, but DISCHARGES when power is supplied to the dex adaptor and the adaptor is plugged in to the phone. Dex workes, but it gradually runs down the battery while the phone reports it's charging.
