Yes. Here it is.
Thanks man.

So just to make sure.

I use these tools and drivers
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391138

Then following your instructions from OP
Load fake wp8 file for the t899m from OP
Load csc from previous post to this.

That's it right?

Also Im not sure on last couple of directions. So after the program finishes, I hold the power button while the phone is still connected to usb like Im doing a soft reset? Then hard reset it using the hardware buttons before it fully boots. Or fully boot after "soft reset" and hard reset via settings? Or was that totally wrong.

Its been quite sometime since Ive flashed a phone. Last was my HD7. But Ive always flashed my windows mobile(or phone in hd7 case) phone including my hd2 before that. Just a bit rusty and out of the loop.

Thanks

It doesn't matter, how you make HR.

N00b process. Just making sure the process is crystal clear.

  1. COPY ANYTHING YOU NEED OFF YOUR DEVICE BEFORE STARTING THIS PROCESS!
  2. Install bundled driver.
  3. Open WP8 SMD binary USB Downloader Ver. 3.33.1 (ADD Polo USCC).exe (or newer)
  4. Use fake_SGH-T899M_SIGN.wp8 as 1
  5. Use wolfROM_2.1_T899M.mbn as 2
  6. switch DL option from ALL to Select
  7. Make sure CSC is the only thing checked!
  8. Turn phone off
  9. Press VolDown&Camera (should reach a download mode screen)
  10. Press start
  11. Downloader will ask you "Download all binary?". Click "NO"!
This where its easy to brick!

Your phone should reboot and everything should seem like normal.
  12. Go to settings -> about -> reset your phone
  13. Watch them gears spin! :p:silly:
  14. Welcome to an InteropUnlocked Samsung (w/Custom ROM)!

Flashed the CSC today. All went well.

Right back to where I was, restore came up on initial setup and all my apps just finished reinstalling. All went perfect.

Only things Ive noticed is the never option is gone in screen timeout which kinda sucks. Internet Sharing is working flawlessly though which is a major plus for the couple times a month that it will come in handy.

The power button bug thals was talking about is non existent on mine everything is working great.

Most likely, its only an issue with CDMA devices like this. Even the HTC Trophy did weird things once something even got close to touching anything in cellular.

I guess there is a reason Verizon takes so long to test updates. These things are so touchy.

Also I guess that's the same reason the ATIV SE launched with GDR3 instead of 8.1 and WPCentral advising against updating to the Dev Preview.

Whoa, you get Internet Sharing to work on TMoUS? I've got the same Telus-branded factory-unlocked SGH-T899M, and none of Microsoft, T-Mobile, Telus, or Samsung could figure out why Internet Sharing doesn't work, nor could any of the forums I asked on.

Yup its working flawlessly. Im actually on Simple Mobile using the Telus branded t889M factory-unlocked also. Its one of the huge things I missed having from my hd7. Not that I use it often but when I need to it'll be awesome its there again.

I went from wp8.1 to flashing wolfs csc and hard resetting. After adding the dummy txt file to unblock RPC I am able to use SamWP8Tools to edit the registry. Even the hard reset wasn't that bad during initial setup it loaded my backup from earlier in the day. After all my apps reinstalled I was at the same place I started with.

Nice work Wolf Id consider this tested and approved. Maybe we can get somebody with some experience to rework the flash tool to make it safer for the "fake" rom. Like not having the download binary pop up, it just doesn't download it by default with no option to initiate downloading binary.

I've made such flasher, but it's even more dangerous. Without this dialog you can totally brick your phone.
Downloading CSC is not a normal flashing process, flasher just copy 2 files to the phone. So, it's safe to flash CSC when GPT differs.
But flashing some partitions when GPT differs will brick your phone. In this case partitions offsets in GPT and real offsets are different. And if your phone can't find partitions with a bootloader... you need JTAG to repair it.

^^ I got an error like that also. Think it has to do with the fake rom not having any data in it. Didnt matter for me.
Notice how it successfully wrote the csc part though.

Here. Fake ROM and wolfROM (for 8.1) are in archive.
I flashed a wolf ROM 2.1 I800 to ATIV S Neo SPH-I800.
Then I hard reset from settings-about-reset your phone.

Issues such as the following has occurred.

a)settings-Cellular and SIM settings-Data connection will be forced off.
b)settings-Cellular and SIM settings-Add Internet APN, can't save APN settings.
c)Power of the phone is turned off automatically.

Hard reset or would not be?
