I don't know if it'll help you guys or not but during the days when I was still using Galaxy Ace II some people managed to swap internal memory and external memory by modifying the vold.fstab and made modified stock ROM with it too. I think you guys can try asking these developers to look and edit you vold.fstab. Check out mkel91's ITALIAN JOB ROM or Kyrillos's ROM. I remember the days when getting CWM installed was hard, CM10 was still in alpha state.. and know they actually have a working KitKat ROM.

Filesystem Table

.fstab files in Android are similar to fstab files on Linux.

Hey... U can make a script for the above commands in .sh format. Then use Script Manager (S Manager) app to launch and set the script to always run the script during device boot up!

ROM upgrades

Does somebody was able to flash a ROM released for a different carrier and still have sound working on this phone?
I either have no sound at all (after burning a new ROM for different carrier) or have strange sound (like "ET call home" - not my problem description, just found it on this forum too) after mixing new ROM with my original MODEM file.
Of course, everything is fine after burning back my original ROM.
And a second question: Does custom counter increase only after burning a non-Samsung ROM? Or after any flash with Odin? I've flashed a lot of diffrent ROMs (but all official samsung ROMs) and my counter is still to 0 (actually to "No").

I recommend to sell this phone, i sold mine for 166 euro and bought the Moto G brand new with 2 year waranty for 220 euro. The Moto G is way better in every way, not to mention it was the first non google phone that upgrade to 4.4.2. Samsung is crap, sorry for saying this, but i had the phone for a year and not event a single update (not event a new update for 4.1.2) and the scroll lag bug was really anoying and that was the main reason for selling it, not to mention that probably this phone will never get a firmware upgrade. Not to mention that building something for this phone is pretty hard because of some missed kernel sources. I really hope szezso and the others can bring a taste of kit kat or cm 10.1 for this phone.

I know, but that wasn't the reason selling this phone, the main reason is Samsung. I really was a samsung fan, but now i am very disappointed.

i8730 pit and other files for complete stock flashing

While restoring stock through odin i somehow got my cell disconnected from pc and then i had to recover it through kies , all went well however I am facing a weird problem sound is not coming except through bluetooth speaker or bluetooth headphone , i tried to restore stock through odin also but problem persists i also cleared cache and factory from recovery mode. So can any body please provide separate pit and csc files to completely reset again and restore stock.

My phone is getting real bad battery life. Got the Szezo Alpha with the recomended settings but dies after 7 hours even with data switched off. Not changed anything. Was fine at first. Anyone else having this problem?

• Enable kernel samepage merging and purging of assets

Through Android Tuner Free
Under CPU manager:
• Set CPU0 to 918 or 1026 MHz
• Set CPU1 to 1026 or 1188 MHz
Under System manager:
• Set OOM to Medium or Light

Through Greenify
Greenify these apps if present:
Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Viber, Android Tuner Free, Outlook.com, Viber, Maps, YouTube, Yahoo! Mail. You can greenify everything else except those dealing with alarms, calls, SMS if you don't use your phone much / you don't need notifications from other apps.
If you have the Xposed framework:
Enable the Greenify module, and enable the first four options under Greenify > Experimental features. If you have the Donation package, enable everything except the last one.

As a bonus, you can also download Clean Master, put the widget on your homescreen, and clean your RAM every now and then - provided you unchecked the apps you need from the RAM cleaning menu in the app.

You can monitor your power usage using a widget named "CurrentWidget - Battery Monitor", search for it in Play.

And the only thing I can do is pull the battery out and reboot :/
Anyone ever had this problem? And can help me please?
