So... Vodafone Romania are d*cks, today is friday and i didn`t recive the phone, monday i will leave in my vacantion, i really don`t know what will happen with my phone...

Pissed I understand... But afterall I still luv tis phone cos its performance still up to my expectation... no lags so far... I'll still wait patiently n temporary use the stock OS cos I think they reformatted a improved ver. it a little, the volume of songs while playing got better n louder, but then still partially fixes, equalizer still spoils the volume... But then hope u enjoy the holidays n place this phone thing aside first... I hope to hear again soon after the holis! Bon voyage!

But I recommend if u want inform the sender abt the absence to be able to collect it n send it again at a later date... And oso yup, the part where u wanted to complain... I agree tht if they are nt up to standard or promise yes complain is a process which then they will look into n provide better services! Although its not a expensive phone but I believe tht they shuld treat every product the same. I too encounter a little of this type of nonchalant attitude when I collect my phone at the repair center, I can sense tht... The staff jus wanted me to get off asap

He's pointing out to a sim unlock app, but it doesn't seem to work on our phone.
Haha I never knew the I8730 was simlocked. Is it? If yes, then what are the signs?

Depends on how you got the phone, mine was bought to Vodafone and was simlocked. You can check by inserting a SIM from another operator, if it asks you for an unlock code it means it's locked =)

i`m verry impressed by it... and the display is actually good, its better than my old samsung galaxy s advance wich was 480x800 super amoled 4 inch display

Oh... Okay me too now hav a better understanding of wat is SIM-locked phones. Jus to share a little... I don't know abt some countries but in here Sg, I wondered and worried a little if mine's Sim-locked too... So, the best way to find out is to E-mail the customer service. And their reply is Samsung do not practice selling SIM-locking phones to consumers n all the phones brought from them are SIM-lock free... Phew... wat a sigh... Somehow tis is true n worked, cos I placed another SIM-card frm another carrier but same country in Sg, n it works without prompting unlock code or watsoever... So I predict tht mayb this SIM-lock thing is initiated by third-parties or mayb even the carriers... Damned!! So hope tis helps haha...

Cool really glad to hear tht... U really are bringing more light n life to unleash more hidden potential to the phone tht stupid manufacturer has limited. I wanted to thank u once again a dev I consider tht had choose to look into tis device while others or I shall say all the rest r jus lookin into high-end devices! I hope u lik it... For me, the first look at it is still normal but wait to I started using it... I start to lik more on the device as the flawless respond takes place. I dun say it's buttery smooth but it up to my daily use, but still no lags n stuff up to my expectations. Runnin games lik GTA III n contract killers etc has no lags, but u can realize the loading time may b jus a little longer tht's all! Still rarely it occurs... But jus times lik okay... a app crashed cos I played a little in the sys apps, the screen jus freeze there until the annoyed force close msg pops up, n during the device starts-up it happens to jump screens cos lots of loadings inside r occuring but still tis is short n it happens to some high-end devices I tested as well. I lik the feeling when I hold it in my hands, I can jus navigate with one hand... convinance! Oso, I realize tht its battery has 100mah more than the new S4 mini lol... And tht's cool.
No worries to develop the dev slowly, it takes interest n passion to do it really... And still I feel tht we r lucky to hav u as the only dev for our device. But the sides are everything abt programming u will need to do it by urself, all we can do r jus testing n mayb some suggestions tht's all. I really respect for the time n effort u put into tis n everything u contribute to the phone!!!
U mentioned u r tryin to port CWM too. I saw related thread of the Galaxy S Advance which the another recovery is being flashed temporary via the stock recovery, then once flashed the temp one then use it to flash again the custom CWM for the device. But my doubts still lays, I still not able to figure out whether the recovery is located on a seperate partition or contained with the kernel. But anyway, I'm sure u will be able to find a way out. i don`t take money, i do this things for passion
today i have time to search a bit, but the last 3 days i was using the phone at his max capacity, and i can say that i am surprized, very good phone, the performance is outstanding, all the new games don`t have a bit of lag, the dark knight rises, vice city, modern combat 4, real racing 3 works like butter.
i had tested the governors and I/Os, the best combo is the stock one, ondemand + cfq or ondemand + noop, performance gov just keeps the freq to 1200 Mhz all the time and its good only for benchmarks in real life is worse.
edit: my signed zips doesnt work like in my old s advance, they have updated the security
