I ordered 256GB Aura didn't check the 512GB...seems odd Samsung wouldn't have stock

I ordered the note 10+5g 512gb auraglow of Samsung website. I ordered it the day it was announced, perhaps they are just out of stock now?

they had the 512's on the night of the 7th when I ordered mine (about 10pm UK) straight after getting the upgrade email from samsung, chances are they just sold out fast as the majority of people on the Note will probably go for the top model anyway.
as for the delivery dates, it's normal for them to get later as time goes on, it happens with most phones, stores are basically given a stock schedule so they know how many phone they will have at launch and how many they will get at set dates after, so it allows them to give people and idea of when they will get the device based on batch numbers, if when you ordered it said the 23rd you will get it the 23rd unless you are really unlucky, if it said a later date unless they get extra stock or people cancel their orders you are likely to get it on the later date.
it's just the way popular phones work due to now global launches, meaning more strain put on the output of the manufacturing and shipping firms to keep the stock in world wide.
it was the same back when I had the Note 7 then had to return it, I decided to go Pixel XL at the time as I wanted the larger screen, but due to timing and the problems I had with O2 acknowledging they received the phone back I struggled to get hold of a black 256 model as most places had sold out their first batch and since I was without a phone at the time as I sold my old one it made getting one a massive pain, but luckily EE got some extra stock in and they had a couple of the Black ones left for preorder. basically if you want a big phone release on day one you need to order as close to pre orders opening as possible.
the Note 10 chances are both versions of the plus will sell out fast and the "standard" (downgraded base note 10 that is lower than the note 9 realistically) will stay in stock as the majority of early adopters will want the best version and the cheaper version will likely be mainly sold to people walking in phone shops off the street thinking they fancy a new phone but don't want to pay a fortune.
I've got nothing against the Note 10 standard but even giving it the smaller screen they should have kept the rest the same.

Must be then. It was just other models moved to showing later dates but the 5g 512Gb models went to no date at all! Hoping I get mine on Friday as planned!!
they probably aren't running the same amount of units with the higher storage, or they could be harder to produce (wouldn't be the first time a device has been held back due to poor chip yield) it's possible they don't think they can get the stock in quick enough to satisfy people who pre order.
if they said you will get it friday when you ordered you will get it friday unless you are really unlucky. when I ordered on Samsung they actually let you pick a day for delivery and mine is set as friday.
Arggghhhh I canna stand it, cap'n!! Hurry up and show some movement SAMSUNG UK!! Nice to be able to use the Samsung Members code for 50% off an LED case tho, thanks for that.... But get that darned handset off the shelf and into a postal bag for gunnersakes!!

Has anyone else got one on order via CPW? They had the best deal I could find on EE 30GB, 5G --> £64/month + £85 up front and I get to keep/sell on Note8 myself. EE's own deals required me to hand them my Note 8 for comparable deal.

I have just received my confirmation email from Samsung UK with DPD tracking!!Pre-ordered the Note 10+ 5G 256GB in Aura Black while the Samsung event was finishing.
This is a big leap for me as my last Android was a Samsung Galaxy S3 3G. Meanwhile I had a Windows Phone (Lumia 1020) and then I've been with iPhone since 6s Plus. Replacing my XS Max now.
Ordered direct from Samsung UK's website. Order currently in Preparing for Dispatch. I already got a case, a screen protector pack, extra cables & chargers and a wireless charge stand. I'm so excited
