Best man:cool:... but too bad, it didn't work out... Anything else than 'com.samsung.android.game.gos' ends with the message 'not installed for user 0'.
I thought I missed a coherent app.

Maybe it's time to check out your recommended app.

Someone else has the problem with the self-reinstalling game optimizing service when using adb?
Maybe there is a Samsung app / service that when you restart the phone it reinstalls the package from the system partition? You can download the app and run it to see if the package is in fact enabled or present without paying for it.

The app reinstalls itself immediately after pressing the enter button in the PowerShell window. I get the message 'success' and whoosh there it's back again. It's as if the access to the app does not take place at all.

Im using CCSWE App Manager (SAMSUNG)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ccswe.appmanager.samsung

I was just able to disable Game Booster and Game Optimizing service. Opened a game and the game tools were longer present. This package disabler has the option to disable the app package, receivers and services individually. Game Optimizing Service has (2) receivers and (8) services. Game Booster has (6) receivers and (7) services.

I dont know if this is what you are looking for but hope it helps.
Looking to use CCSWE App Manager (SAMSUNG).

Are there any details as what is safe to uninstall/freeze etc. through this app. Not looking to experiment as i am new to CCSWE.

What have you safely uninstalled/frozen? ....Screenshots please.

Also, do you see any benefits battery wise?

Main battery benefit, that anybody can easily see is standby use: From the very beginning my phone was running down about 1% per hour, when not used at all and this is already without Facebook, any cloud drive sync nor any other social media stuff. Right now my phone is still work in progress, since I'm still trying to see what I use and what not, but I already seen as little as 1% every 3 hours, so this is my final goal for everyday . I have old Note 3 that is properly rooted and debloated, that kids use to play games or draw. It has old worn out battery and few times my kids left it on and forgot about it, for 5, 6 days the phone was on standby and still had about 50% battery left. As it is my brand new phone, with brand new battery would be completely dead by then. BTW higher battery use = many more charge cycles = faster the battery will wear out and it's not like you order new battery and replace it in 1 min.

Are you too using CCSWE App Manager?

If yes, any guide as to what is safe to uninstall/freeze etc.. in N10+?

Also, can you share screenshots of what you have uninstalled/disabled/frozen?

I use ADB but it's all the same, you go over the list and pick services/apps you don't use and click menu/disable or in my case I need to type in. I'm still trying to figure what Google and Samsung apps I can disable. For example I disabled Google search from first page on factory settings. If I need Google search I open it from browser, same with youtube, since I don't have account. I disabled Chrome, market feedback agent (sounds like telemetry), Bixby (I left Bixby vision for now to see how it works in stores), all syncs apps (I do all backups manually, first to SD, later to computer) etc. But I don't want to give you a list which may disable stuff you need. I'm not even sure what's worth disabling and what's not, it's still work in progress for me. First page list is a good start. Test on something you know for sure you don't need, like kids home, if you don't have small kids.

Found the following ANT+ modules (health sensors) are safe to disable

ant+dut: com.dsi.ant.sample.acquirechannels
ANT Radio service: com.dsi.ant.service.socket
Ant+ Plugins: com.dsi.ant.plugins.antplus

But don't disable the other one as it seems to cause battery drain.

---------

KIDS Home crap
kids home installer: com.samsung.android.kidsinstaller

-------

LED cover services: (Don't if you have the LED cover obviously)
LED cover: com.samsung.android.app.ledbackcover.app.lcovermainlauncher
LED cover service: com.sec.android.cover.ledcover

Personally have i done this multiple times with various phones and NEVER saw an improvement in battery life. On one or two occassions i was pretty sure the battery performance was made worse tbh.

I never noticed any benefit at all! Waist of time imo. Disable the basics/main apps and thats it! Enjoy your phone! Reducing your screens brightness will improve your battery 10 times more then disabling some apps from my experience at least

I wanted to report that I was incorrect about the LED Cover service disabling AOD notifications. Turned out that I had enabled "Adaptive power saving" which switched me into Medium power saving automatically. Thats what disabled my AOD and its notifications. Ive since tested LED Cover = disabled and everything works fine.

Attached is my junk list. Note that the Launcher (emergency service) was already disabled and not my doing.

View attachment 4823313
View attachment 4823315

Using the ADB method I removed the following packages with no side effects:
com.facebook.system
com.facebook.appmanager
com.samsung.android.game.gamehome (Game Launcher not Game Optimization)
com.microsoft.skydrive (MS OneDrive)
com.samsung.android.kidsinstaller (Samsung Kids Home) icon will be removed from quick panel after reboot

Kids Home Characters - This is required for AR Emoji to work.
com.samsung.android.app.camera.sticker.facearavatar.preload

Edit: Disabling Samsung Push service seems to break Samsung Backup. If disabled you wont be able to login to your Samsung account for backups or use the Samsung Cloud app. Tested twice and broke the features both times.

Everyone has a preference and Im sure everyone else along with me respects yours. Disabling the wrong app/service can actually make the battery drain more. If an app relies on another service and its disabled that app might keep making calls to the disabled app/service like getting stuck in a loop. Im not a developer so I cant give a real technical explanation.

I think some of us are fanatics. I know I am. If I can gain 3% of battery usage time, because some apps are no longer using the cpu, I'll take it. Especially stuff I dont care about. Some people do it to free up space.

But there is another advantage for me. Data... Yes I have unlimited data but not unlimited high speed data. So disabling a few system apps and services that I cant control background data is a win.

Enjoy your phone! Reducing your screens brightness will improve your battery 10 times more then disabling some apps from my experience at least
Well said and I agree with you. Now that I am running over 4 days on a charge with screen brightness at 25%, Im very happy. But the data, I will always be a miser until I can upgrade my plan

If I remember correctly ANT service is some type of BT codec for better quality audio, so if you're using Bluetooth headphones or speakers I would leave it alone. Also it shouldn't use battery power until it's loaded by system to process music. Not every headphone supports it, so you may not tell the difference and be ok without it.

First of all disabling unused background services will probably not show during the time you're using the phone, since when phone is used it runs about 10% battery power per hour, so what's 0.5 % either way, but for example over weekend except for couple short calls I may not use my phone at all. Normally at the end of weekend my phone would be down to 50%, if properly debloated it should be around 90% and don't even require any charging.
And this is where we differ in philosophy: I do not lower the brightness or limit my use of the phone in any way, when I'm using it, However I have a problem when Google or Samsung or any other apps is using my phone and running down my battery, even when I'm not using it.
Few years back I went on a week vacation and forgot battery charger. I had to make hotel reservations on the road and I had to have phone on in case of family emergency call etc. My phone was properly debloated and I still had 30% batt. left when came back. My new N10+ would not last half a trip without charging, if not debloated.

Ant+ is not bluetooth really. It's kind of only used for some high end fitness and medical devices that can talk to SHealth as an accessory. 99% of folks probably won't ever use it or care.

Because it is "close" to how bluetooth works, it's really simple to incorporate it into the SOC. The 3 I listed are accessories drivers the one I left out is a core hardware driver. The driver probably gets loaded on boot, the 3 accessories components probably won't be used unless you attach a device that uses ANT or ANT+ so it's up to you to choose to disable or not.

In theory it could be a hack vector, but it's use is so limited what hacker type person would bother?

That being said, should be perfectly fine to disable if you wish or not. :)

Just sharing the info.

I would think the LED Cover and LED Cover Service would be two apps if disabled, you might try turning back on. If that doesnt solve the problem after restarting the phone then in CCSWE filter (show) only disabled apps. Take a screenshot and post it here. Then we can compare your list of items against ours and figure out the problem.

Depending on your cover, Always On display may need to be turned on/enabled. Adaptive power saving and/or Medium power saving will turn off the AOD display.

The issue had nothing to do with disabling certain apps., i had used an app call Full screen caller ID in which the default calling App. needed to be changed from Phone to this App. & the issue was because of this. Changed default calling App. back to Phone and issue got resolved.

Just a quick tip. If you've opted to debloat and remove Kids Mode and/or PC Link there is a way to remove the icons from the quick settings panel. Fully expand your notification menu so that the 3 dot menu is visible. Tap that and select "Button Order". Simply tap the "Done" button and the icons will be removed.

Please note Ive noticed after installing a carrier update that the icons returned as non-functional. But the above procedure will remove them.
