Anyone got a list to remove verizon bloat? Trying to make sure I uninstall everything verizon.
ANT+/ANT+ Services are to connect to Verizon's network radio antennas and allows you to have phone service. They should be disabled and removed if you have another Carriers firmware.Ant+ is not bluetooth really. It's kind of only used for some high end fitness and medical devices that can talk to SHealth as an accessory. 99% of folks probably won't ever use it or care.
Because it is "close" to how bluetooth works, it's really simple to incorporate it into the SOC. The 3 I listed are accessories drivers the one I left out is a core hardware driver. The driver probably gets loaded on boot, the 3 accessories components probably won't be used unless you attach a device that uses ANT or ANT+ so it's up to you to choose to disable or not.
In theory it could be a hack vector, but it's use is so limited what hacker type person would bother?
That being said, should be perfectly fine to disable if you wish or not.
Just sharing the info.
Nope. You should probably google that a bit better.ANT+/ANT+ Services are to connect to Verizon's network radio antennas and allows you to have phone service. They should be disabled and removed if you have another Carriers firmware.
Verizon users need to leave ANT+/ANT+ services enabled.
It may be different for these phones but I when I looked it up for my Note 8 both verizon troubleshooting connectivity issues and Google stated they had to do with service connection.Nope. You should probably google that a bit better.
Do need to do this every time the software update?Collated Updated List - After going through the complete thread and testing them out - These are the one's which are fine to disable -

So far with the monthly security updates I havent had to. Im certain an OS upgrade would require it. Otherwise if the app is disabled it wont update via Google Play or Samsung App store. Someone else might have a more definitive answer.Do need to do this every time the software update?
Haven't checked post the update. Will be good if you can please check the same and update.Do need to do this every time the software update?
I used the ADB method to uninstall the TMO app. If I recall there were two packages:anyone know how to debloat the t-mobile app?
I used package disable pro in the playstore. It cost $3 but it works kind of like titanium backup when I rooted. So far with the monthly security updates I havent had to. Another item to add to the list.
AR Doodle
com.samsung.android.ardrawing
Side effects: None
Notes: Ar Doodle icon will still be visible in the camera app in video mode, but if tapped nothing is executed.
I have used CCSWE since I received my GN10+ SD 256 GB. Excellent and safe. It reliably disabled the apps you see listed at the beginning of this thread. I noticed that , after the monthly security updates, many of the apps that I'd disabled are now enabled back. You have to go again through the process and disable them. CCSWE is a Samsung app, and by design it will not list system apps Sammy does not want us to touch. This is when you would have to go to ADB.Are you too using CCSWE App Manager?
If yes, any guide as to what is safe to uninstall/freeze etc.. in N10+?
Also, can you share screenshots of what you have uninstalled/disabled/frozen?
I noticed on mine that some of the disabled syst apps revert back to Enabled after the monthly security updates. Keep the list handy... or bookmarked. So far with the monthly security updates I havent had to. Im certain an OS upgrade would require it. its technically not a "samsung app" but does use sammy apis and licensing which is why it works so well.. prolly also has a part in the dev leaving some sammy apps off the list.I have used CCSWE since I received my GN10+ SD 256 GB.
