Hello, is here a chance to install Android Oreo (beta) on SM-N950F? Thanks for answer.
Not until they release he Exynos version of Oreo. If you flash the Snapdragon version it's bricksville for you...
1. Cos they can...Why samsung do take so long for updating the new firmwares??!!! Is there a chance to get it now?
for a carrier free device this is strange! are you on stock fw, or did you root your device?UK unlocked haven't received any update since September, nothing to do with carriers
Sent from my SM-N950F using XDA-Developers Legacy app
YES IT DOES! For UN-branded FW, ALL carriers must approve that FW for release!UK unlocked haven't received any update since September, nothing to do with carriers

Because Sammy OS is heavily modded to their linking so it will take time for them to get it all up and running and then testing and then some more testing. Why samsung do take so long for updating the new firmwares??!!! Is there a chance to get it now?
Maybe you haven't check it. Because since November I bought it I had received 3 updates. Last one yesterday.UK unlocked haven't received any update since September, nothing to do with carriers
why, I bought it directly from Samsung!blame your carrier, not samsung
If this is true, it makes perfect sense.YES IT DOES! For UN-branded FW, ALL carriers must approve that FW for release!
carriers release updates to use on THEIR network; it doesnt matter one bit who you bought the phone from..why, I bought it directly from Samsung!
it does matter.carriers release updates to use on THEIR network; it doesnt matter one bit who you bought the phone from..
thats common knowledge in the cellular world.. Google is the only sometimes "exception", but if their phones are sold by any carrier, i.e. when t mobile sold the nexus 6, it was T Mobile who released/approved updates, NOT Google
Agree, for SM-N950Fit does matter.
in Europe, if you don't get your phone through a carrier you get the F model.
while other variants get their updates through the carrier, F models always get their updates directly from Samsung.
until the note 8 the unbranded models(like the F models) where always first to get updates, because no carrier approval is needed.
edit: correction.
there are carrier specific F models, the carrier branding is in the csc in those cases.
any phone bought from Samsung directly or a store that isn't tied to a carrier will always have an "unbranded" csc in Europe.
