Steps to install the launcher
1. Download the apk below
2. Clear Stock launcher "Touchwiz Home" data and cache from settings.
3. Install apk
4. If launcher crashes, clear data and cache again.
5. Press Home button it should work.

May work on other Touchwiz based ROMs as well. Try at your own risk. Won't trip your Knox though.

FAQ:
In case of any lag or crash. Go to setting - Touchwiz launcher and wipe cache and data. Reboot.
Only worked on nougat ROM. Can't comment about MM.
You can uninstall by going to settings - Touchwiz home - Three dot menu on left and select uninstall updates.

Nice!! Thanks. It worked like charm. Don't know how to uninstall it though (as the uninstall updates buttons has been long gone since months) but I'll keep it for a while

There is a conflict between this launcher and Facebook Messenger chat bubbles. They go missing once collapsed but notifications say that they are still present. Once uninstalled this launcher all went back to normal

Working fine here. Try resetting app permission.

I can't install it and when I try pushing it to system/priv app it won't allow me to change permissions. Any ideas? Would really like to try it out

50 pages is huge, you do not realize! It would be on the front page it would be simpler.

Yet you didn't even read back 3 pages...

People have been asking the same question for weeks, it is stated multiple times throughout the thread

XDA does not spoon feed, if you want info, read, info is almost always in the same thread you are having a problem with, if not, Google it

You are not going to be the only person with that issue, nor the first. Not with a 20 month old device

    Samsung TouchWiz Home 6.1.50.1

Updates via the app store of your choice are only available on the Galaxy S8 and S8+.
    [6.1.09.2]
    - Added an information screen to Samsung TouchWiz Home.
    - Improved transitions between the Home and Apps screens when swiping up and down.
    - Improved the visibility of app names under icons.

    https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsu...touchwiz-home/touchwiz-home-6-1-50-1-release/

Swiping between home and apps drawer is completely lag free now

OK for anyone who rebooted after enabling secure startup and can no longer install these apps without a package name conflict again try this:

I told Samsung about secure startup not staying enabled after boot, they told me to wipe cache in recovery, I did and it fixed it so do that first

Then disable Secure Startup and reboot again, now you should be able to install updated apps again

Doesn't seem to be necessary to have secure startup enabled, but the reboot between toggling it either on or off is what allows the installs

    1. Enable Secure Startup
    2. Boot to recovery and wipe cache
    3. Disable Secure startup
    4. Reboot
    5. Install apps
