Ok so after three months I turned my mind back to this topic again. And yes, I struggled for a couple of hours overnight last night and got the ATT T727A flashed with Lineage. There are a few tricks: First, the USC R4 firmware can be flashed, with the modified version (3B) of Odin, which bypasses the SHA256 error check; Second, when the USC R4 firmware (latest for now is Mar 2021 version, Android 10) is flashed, the start logo changes from slick ATT to full screen big fat US Cellular. Need to wait for a few minutes and let it do its work. Through this flash, user data will not be lost. Third, the USC R4 version does have OEM Unlock automatically present and all it needs is to flip the switch, then go to download mode to unlock the bootloader. This will erase the user data. Fourth, from then on it's all standard procedures to flash any third party roms like LineageOS with MicroG pursuant to their instructions. Four hours work made a good result, and the cellular data is usable without problem.

PS: the concept of timed OEM unlock switch (a week after factory reset) is wrong. It's non-existent so do not waste time on it. Just straigntly flash the USC R4 Version. To flash other roms like Lineage, it would be better to download the Odin with their specified version to prevent hiccups.

Good news everyone! o.o My SM-T727A is now running LineageOS! Here are the step by step instructions:

PLEASE NOTE: After the whole process is complete, my tablet states it's an SM-T725 in the Android About screen because you need to flash the US Cellular firmware as a workaround to unlock the bootloader. Also, when restarting the tablet, a screen appears that states "This tablet's bootloader is unlocked and its software integrity can't be verified." Then another screen states "The tablet is not running Samsung's official software." Then the LineageOS splash screen appears and the system loads. I downloaded "Odin3 v3.14.1_3B_PatcheD.zip".
Extract the zip file.
Open "Odin3 v3.14.1_3B_PatcheD.exe" as an administrator.
Power off the tablet and boot it into download mode: with the tablet powered off, hold Volume up + Volume Down + Power. At the prompt, click the button that on the onscreen instructions that correlates to “Continue.”
Download and install the newest Samsung drivers "SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.exe" from https://developer.samsung.com/android-usb-driver
Connect the tablet to your computer using a USB cable. It should appear in Odin above where it says "ID:COM" as something like "0:[COM3]" or "COM0".
Load the BL, AP, CP, and HOME_CSC files from the US Cellular firmware folder that you extracted into their respective places in Odin. Ignore the other "CSC_..." file.
Click start. A progress bar should appear at the bottom of your tablet screen.
WAIT until Odin displays PASS! on the top left and "All threads completed." in the log.
Your tablet will restart automatically and show the US Cellular logo.

UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER
Go through setup wizard inputting the minimal amount necessary, skipping as many things as you can but do connect to a Wi-Fi network during setup. This allows the tablet to adjust the date/time automatically.
Once at the Android home screen (YAYY!), go to Settings (swipe down from the very top and hit the gear icon) > About Tablet > Software information.
Tap on "Build number" until Developer options is activated.
Go to Settings > Developer options.
Tap on the switch next to "OEM unlocking" and tap "Turn on" at the prompt.
Tap on the switch next to "USB debugging" and tap "OK" at the prompt.

FLASH LINEAGEOS
Continue with the instructions on the LineageOS site after the "OEM unlock" step.

Thanks a lot, I have followed your tutorial to the dot with my Samsung T727v.02 official firmware that was full of bloatware, and it worked perfectly.

Load the BL, AP, CP, and HOME_CSC files from the US Cellular firmware folder that you extracted into their respective places in Odin. Ignore the other "CSC_..." file.

Just a note for future readers: the "HOME_CSC" goes into the "CSC" field, still, and every time you load one of those files, there is a loading time (checking the checksum), just be patient…
Also, as usual, the first time the tablet reboots, it takes quite a while.

And, just one last note: for some reason I was never able to make the recovery.img given by lineage at
