You got a bad one. Mine came with an adhesive strip on the front cover and two diamond shaped adhesive pads on the rear cover. Works perfectly! Opens and closes without issue. The front cover does not slide off.
Actually, I ordered two. The rear case indeed has those diamond shape adheasive, but NOTHING on the front cover and it slips right off. Two defective. They were both red colored backs.

I got the black. The front adhesive strip is very strong. But I swap cases occasionally, so I bought some really thin 3M tape to use when the Aramid case or other cases' adhesive starts to lose its ability to adhere. Easy to apply and easy to remove. Why not just get some 3M and make your red cases work? When the front cover is properly attached, this thing works great.

Use a blow dryer or heat gun to warm the adhesive. Just enough to loosen the adhesive. It should come off much easier!

Has anyone with the Spigen Slim Armor Pro removed the case with the adhesive on it ?
I need to take it off its not coming off so easily and I'm afraid to force it
yep, I used a heat gun and just went back and forth to loosen the glue, still took a little to take it off but I can see how it will damage the 5g antenna cover

So far I have really enjoyed using the Samsung Silicone cover on mine since day 1. I did not like the UAG Civilian case at all and also have the Incipio Dual Grip coming in

Still rocking the latercase. No problems.

I carry using this belt pouch:

I keep the phone in the pouch when not charging or using it, etc. Working well these past few months. No complaints.

It would be neat if they put a fold counter on this device! Like an odometer on a car, it keeps track of how many times the device has been unfolded. :)

I love the Aramid case from Samsung. I just wished it had some sort of protection for the hinge. But, overall, it's an excellent case...doesn't add any bulk.

I've finally got a setup/case combo that meets my needs. At least for now. While I really didn't mind having to use adhesive strips at first, having to frequently reapply the strips when changing cases has become a pain. I'm now using the Kevlar/aramid case from Latercase and Speck's clear one piece Presidio case. Neither case requires adhesive (Latercase uses a grippy rubber-like strip to hold the front cover in place and Speck's case is a single piece, avoiding the necessity for adhesive or any type of grip altogether). Not having to reapply adhesive makes swapping between cases a breeze.

As most of you know, the case from Latercase is minimalist in design, but offers solid scratch/scuff protection. The Speck Presidio looks and feels great, but it's pretty bulky and quite a bit heavier. I use the Latercase case most of the time, because it's slim and lightweight. I slap on the Speck case when I know I'm going to be out in conditions or situations where there's a greater chance of dropping or damaging my Fold3 (outdoor activities, out drinking, etc). For me, this combo is pretty much perfect.

I also have an AI Autofocus case with an integrated screen protector and an S Pen slot built into the hinge protector. The AI Autofocus case is very bulky, inconvenient, and hideous but it also doesn't require adhesive, and it's useful for situations in which I need hinge protection and better protection from dust and dirt (like when I'm going to the beach, etc). The S Pen slot is just an added benefit that makes the enormous size and ugly hinge protector a little less unacceptable.

Just my 2 (or 3) cents after having tried and tested a ton of different cases for this device, for what it's worth...

Same as always, no case on mine. I've taken to using this slim cross body bag all the time, it has loads of space for phone and extras and is so flat it disappears under a jacket or shirt. I'm impressed with the quality considering it cost £14.64 from aliexpress with a 10 day delivery

I looked at this on AliExpress and really like it. The same company and seller make a couple of different designs, so I have a few questions:
1) This looks like it only has 1 or 2 zippered pockets, and the rest are all non-closable pockets. Is that correct, or are there zippers hidden within those folds?
2) Why did you pick this one over the ones that had like 5 zippered compartments (and one even had an RFID pouch built-in)
3) How flat does this really lay against your body?

Thanks!

Hey,

All pockets have a closure except the small strap pocket, three are zippered(the long front one, which is only zippered about 2/3 its length, from the badge to the bottom, the edge pocket, and the back pocket) and two are magnetic. The magnetic ones (the ones nearest to the strap buckles) have a stiffener in the opening and the magnet is inside the fabric so theres nothing sharp that can scratch the screen.

I chose this one because the pocket designed for phone use at the pointy corner is deep enought that the zfold 3 goes fully in with nothing exposed, and the magnetic closure is hidden in the fabric so no exposed metal that could scratch the phone. The other magnetic pocket is also deep enough to hold a phone.

The edge pocket opens to the whole bag and just fits a 10 inch tablet with one corner right by the zipper. There are two internal passport sized slip pockets in this compartment.

I purchased the left one which goes over the left shoulder, hanging under the right arm.

Empty, it's about 8-10mm thick on average, mostly two layers of fabric to each pocket, with a thin padding 2mm in the back of the main compartment. It sits flat against your front and curves around your side when under your arm. You really wouldn't see it under a casual shirt.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. That's helpful information. I have a small shoulder thing that I currently use for conferences and traveling. It's small and boxy, and vaguely military-esque. Definitely has to go OVER shirts, jackets, etc. It' big enough for a phone, battery bank, cables, wallet and a few other things. I think the thing that you use would be better being bigger and flattter, so I'll probably grab one now that I know that that one has the hidden zippers. At like $16, there's nothing to lose really. :). Thanks for your input.

I have had military style cross body bags before, this is nothing like them, it's a soft flexible fabric and really comfortable. Hope it works for you

Hi guys. I didn't find a case I would like so I made myself this one "bumper" lightweight case on my 3d printer. On back, hinch and front sides I have sticker from Ali. On outer display I have tempered glass, but it's going off so I need to replace it. After that I will by happy. This is first time I was making 3d model from scratch so I spent a lot of time on it but I made everything exactly as I wanted and now I am satisfied 👍😁

Lots of respect - how long did it take you to get it right? How did you create it? Measure around? Scan another one?
Hi sorry for late reply, I did not expected so positive reactions 🙏😊 i was learning in fusion 360 and sketchupu - a lot of time in front of YouTube 🤣 and I was just trying. This is result. And now I am working on another project. Still in beginning but I can show you. I am using nvidia shield tv a geforce now on it and on fold. I have razer junglecat controller and I wanted to have it on both devices but didn't want to have rails for attachment controller on my tiny case so I was thinking and this is result. Not final, it still have issues but here it is: so you have any ideas what to make better? You can share your opinion here 🤗

I bought my case and already happy with it, official Samsung Aramid Cover.
Looks good, fits well, finally done for cover display too.

I received a reply from Spigen today and they confirmed that they will be releasing the Thin Fit case with S-Pen storage. No plans for a compatible holster though so I am hoping Encased does one. As of now no date for release only said soon and to keep an eye on their website.

    Anyone get the Aramid?
I did. I like the look and feel of it. My only concern is the protection. It is so thin I question its ability to protect the phone if it were dropped. That being said, it will be my daily case until something nice comes out with S Pen support (besides the Samsung Flip one, it's not a good option)

I placed a Ringke pen holder on the back to hold my S Pen.
