I haven't gotten any shipping details. I ordered Thursday around 5:00 pm, TMobile version. It said 'in stock' in the shipping confirmation email for the device, and then listed various shipping dates for the freebie accessories. When I went online to check the order status, the Note 8 lists as 'Confirmed' and the freebies list as 'Backordered'. No dates anywhere. If you try to order the Note 8 TMobile version on Samsung's site, it says it ships in 3 to 5 business days...but does that mean it arrives at your home in 3 to 5 days, or it leaves the warehouse in 3 - 5 days and then arrives two days later at your home?

Exactly bro! It's the same for me, my freebie 360 cam is backordered and It just says confirmed on the web page. I wonder when they ship.... one of my friend had ordered an unlocked S8+ and it took 2 days for it to ship and 4 days to reach (it's expedited 2 day but it's only on weekdays -_-) he had to wait Friday and Monday (*2 days*) for it to reach. Lol Rip 2 day logic :/

I read online that the unlocked versions were shipping very slowly--hopefully the carrier versions are faster. I want my beautiful free Note 8 now!!

I wonder if they ship on weekends.... We can expect it to be in our hands by Thursday or Friday next week if they ship on Monday. :good:

It may change to shipped status over the weekend, but FedEx/UPS aren't going to get a hold of it until Monday at the earliest. If it gets to the shipping company on Monday, we'll get it on Wednesday--two day shipping is pretty reliable...

I think the 'confirmed' is referring to the payment status. I wish it said something about it being in stock, or ready to ship, or something!!

I guess it means that the particular item is in stock and assigned, but yet to be shipped.....

That sounds about right...although I'm not sure about the 'assigned' part. I'd love to think that the system, somewhere, has set aside a beautiful Note 8 with my name on it, and is just waiting to ship it out, but I am dubious!

I heard that one of the things delaying Note 8 orders was payment--people have trade ins, and credits for being former Note 7 owners, etc and those were complicated to process. Hopefully our 'free' status should help in that regard.

Yes, it says confirmed and I ordered the T-Mobile note 8.

My Note 8 status says "confirmed" and the gear 360 is "backordered". My carrier is AT&T.

Well, fingers crossed everybody, that our lovely free Note 8's ship soon! Looking on the online comments, it looks like a lot of orders are finally shipping out. I think they had a big backlog at the beginning, but hopefully it is clearing out...
