Unless its changed they really only see what app & how long an app is open. They don't see content.
Thats cool with me just kind of weird now that I think of it since I use my banking info etc. The app is small so doestn seem it a big deal I don't mind being their bunny and getting the phone for half price.
So my delivery date has been pushed AGAIN. Back to September 15th. This is the third time it's been put at September 15th. I have a very upset email into Insights. They've been trying to call as well, but with the thick Asian accent, I couldn't even understand the voicemail. I am at this point double disgusted with the insight program. First charge half for more time and now can't even deliver the device.
What model did you get? I got the code on Friday and ordered on Friday and got it last night. I got the black one 128gb.

Why isn't Samsung doing an insights program for the fold 2?
Not sure, they pushed the S20 Ultra and the Z Flip survey together but majority of them were asked to buy the Z Flip even though they wanted the S20 Ultra. Heck, even people who were still mid year into insights program and had referred others, kept getting emails to buy the Z Flip.

I don't remember if there was a Z-Fold survey when it first launched.

What model did you get? I got the code on Friday and ordered on Friday and got it last night. I got the black one 128gb.
White 128 unlocked. Ordered August 18th.

Anyone elses shipping date keep getting pushed back ??? My first date was Sept. 4th, then the 9th and now it's Sept. 22nd.
Mine has been all over as well. Which did you order? Mine is white unlocked 128

Yup, mine was pushed from the 18th to the 9th, and then to the 22nd.
Ditto, but mine sits at the 15th

Edit: just shipped for delivery on Tuesday. ?

Anyone on the ZFlip study get an email from them that's asking if we want a slot in the Note 20/Ultra study? I just got one today.

Do you know if they allow you to do both Tablet (S7 in this case) and phone study together for Samsung Insight? Has anyone done both together in the past?
Yes they do. I'm currently in both the Note 10+ study and the Tab S6 study.

Anyone else have their order get cancelled by Samsung? The money was taken from my account then refunded and my order no longer exists. I cannot for the life of me get a response from Insights or Samsung. I tried calling and the Sam Rep didnt even know what insights was but said it shows our ordered was internally cancelled with no reason. Any help would be great.

Tried reordering with the same code? Did you violate some agreement? I have gotten responses by emailing from the acceptance email. Hope you get it sorted soon. Let us know what happens?

Help -- GF enrolled in Samsung Insights for no reason

Since this is the Insights discussion, I have a unique problem I haven't seen elsewhere on this forum - if this is the wrong discussion group, apologies - any advice would be great!

My gf and I both ordered Note 20 Ultra 5G phones. Mine works great, I bought it outright; both ATT models.

She financed her phone through Samsung and traded in a Note 8. When we booted up her Note 20 Ultra, it loaded up Samsung Device Insights, which is attempting to track her use and is a persistent app that she can't close. Further, she can't perform a factory reset.

She never signed up for insights. She used an education discount through ID.me for 7.5%, and received a trade in amount for her Note 8. That's it. No where, anywhere, did she agree to be part of the insights program, and not discount was associated.

I've called almost every number at Samsung, and very few people know what the Insights Program is. When I finally found someone familiar, they told me there is no phone number that only e-mail works. I have emailed [email protected], and she has responded directly to the app/customer service email (at that same address) to get the deactivation code. The app says she is part of "program 11." They responded with a confusing message that said "she has returned and opted into the insights program by using the same discount code" (almost verbatim). She was never in the program for any of her devices!

I CAN get the app to disable and uninstall, and I can disable KC agent, etc. all using ADB, but I'm concerned her name is erroneously on some list it doesn't belong on. She is paying almost full price for this thing, less the discounts I mentioned above - so this is ridiculous. Any suggestions/pointers/contacts I should try? It seems pointless to return this perfectly good phone just to get her off the list.

That email is the only contact given to us in general. I do know someone on here said they received a voicemail from someone at the Insights program so I don't know if they were given a number to call. Maybe someone else has other contact info, but for most of us at least, it's just the email you already have.

This is really strange. Did she try to put any random discount codes in from the internet, even if they didn't work?

My only thought otherwise of how this may have happened is that someone at Samsung input the wrong IMEI or serial number into Knox config. That's how the phones are identified to be configured for the Insights program. The phone info is input in the Knox configuration database to be assigned the Insights configuration upon setup. Someone might have scanned the wrong box or made a typo if it was manually input.

I'm not sure what you put in the email you sent them, but try sending them a copy of the invoice showing there was no discount code applied.
