They contacted me out of the blue without me requesting or anything for an S5. Should I be expecting to get one or would I still need a referral? I've taken two phones completely through contract on AT&T, S3 & S4, so can they check on that and does it count? Just curious as to what to be expecting.

They got your info from your Samsung account on your phone. If they asked you for a referral, you need to find someone that's in the program that hasn't already referred 2 people. Once you find one, reply with all your info they requested. Hopefully they will respond with an email saying you're in the program. They don't really care about your past devices.

Nothing about a referral was mentioned. That was what I was wondering: if people just contacted by them needed a referral also if I had a better chance of getting a phone by them contacting me. I took the survey last night but haven't heard anything back yet.

Your lucky. I sent in my referral and haven't heard back from them. It's now going on two weeks since I submitted the referral.

I took it the 30th and haven't got any reply since. I wish they'd let you know one way or the other. It's kind of messed up to dangle a free phone in someone's face then not even reply back. Lol I wanted that exact phone for a while too but have to wait out my contract. A no would be better than status limbo.

wondering if either of you that has done the surveys recently by chance still have 2 referals and wouldn't mind sending me one? ive got the email from samsung asking for the referal info still and just trying to find someone that can hook me up..
