I love using theme to style my note 5, but i hate when it also themes the Samsung keyboard. I prefer the stock ui for the keyboard, is there any way for me not to theme the keyboard and theme everything else?
I'm using Rotox Theme, SM-920T

Every theme consists of different packages for different parts of the OS. For exampe material theme (the one i'm using) is called com.cambunch.MaterialDesign. it has a package called com.cambunch.MaterialDesign.inputmethod, whitch is the part responsible for theming keyboard. You Can uninstall only this part of the theme with Titanium backup. After a reboot your keyboard would look like stock theme.
Ps: the naming is standard "[package-name].inputmethod"

If you are rooted, download the theme that you want from the Galaxy Store make sure you put the stock theme active. Use a Root file Explorer, go to:

Data/overlays/jsonfiles/userjson/

Find the theme you want. I use dark night. If you open that file with text editor, you will see a list of everything that theme themes. If there is a certain item you don't want themed you can delete that line off of the text. I don't like having the settings themed so I delete the settings line and the icons. It only leaves the stock items and stock settings but I haven't really played with it too much to see what else you can do. In your case there are two lines. They are:

"ong.Datafactory.Inputmethod",

"ong.datafactory.inputmethod_cn*

Depending on what you were theme is it may not say datafactory. I have not tried it for the keyboard but those are the two lines and I don't know if you need to delete both or just the first one. Again I have not tried this I came across another post on how to keep the stock icons and started trying to see if I can on the other things and this is how I managed to do it. Again I'm not 100% sure if you need to delete both but as long as you back it up first then you can try it.

After you delete the lines that you want save the file again as the same name. Reboot your phone and then apply the theme. I'm not sure where I found the post but I think it's in note 5 themes and apps under keeping stock icons. It seems to work for more than just the stock icons and this is how I've been doing it but the person who figured it out wrote the post about the keeping stock icons on note 5. I just tried untheming other things.

Hopefully that helps.
