can u guid me how to make icons??
One way to start would be to find some icons you like and practice editing colors. You can then learn to build icons by using components of different icons together. YouTube is a huge help!

Hey guys,
I just found out the theming option for the S6 and I am happy to see that this is finally an option for users without having the device rooted.

Shame that it is not possible to create my own theme without an hassle... First being accepted as an member and then create an theme and maby it will be accepted and released. Back in the old days, (time of SGS 1/3) I made my own themes. I want to pick up that hobby again and I intend to use my old icons.

I will not accept that it is not possible to only use an theme wich are presented by the theme store! :p

I have an few questions and I hope you guys can help me. When you download an theme from the theme store, we're are those files being stored? Is it an app that is directly being installed somewhere in the data/app root directory? I hope that answer is no, otherwise I will have to accept the disappointment...

Yes, the files are installed as separate APKS in the data folder. You can't modify them without root access.

Hi gang looking for some direction...

I used to theme for TWRP and some small apps here and there. I unfortunately do not have any pics or those old files as it was for ICS and a only ROOTED/Recovery themes.

I have since applied twice for access to the theme maker and been rejected. Can anyone post up what it is that they said or attached to said request? Ive attached some old screen shots and icons that I colored or modified from previous themes...

Are they looking for a mock idea of what your theme is going to look like? Do they want previous THEMES only? or does any artwork do?

How does one prove they did themes before if the only way to of themed previously was to ROOT, decompile/recompile said apks then upload? Which, most companies look down on..

Is the only way to prove I am capable of making themes is to get python loaded and or android sdk and make some lame themes/frameworks real quick?

Ive tried using my company's web site for proof of my basic artwork/wordpress theme and was rejected..

This makes no sense to me..

My application got rejected twice. I've made quite a few cyanogenmod themes in last few years. Submitted mockups of my previous works and even my developer page link in play store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/dev?id=6810158990223866451

I have no idea what they are looking for while selecting an application. The reason i got was 'lack of verified details'. Their response is too vague so we can't even correct our application and resubmit. Anyone who got selected have any idea how the application should be structured?

they want banners portfolio presentation. Not the theme application. Show them your ideas that different from the themes available already in the store. And use the nice presentation images.

Now more than 100 theme designers there but still see roukie themers every months. Mean that samsung still open the door for new creative designer.

Good Luck
