Samsung Note 3-SM-N900V, Can't access anything on phone except Calls & Msg-ing

Service: StraightTalk, with a New SIM compatible for SS.
*Mobile network state* Disconnected ??
Network: Verizon wireless (thru StraightTalk)


I got the phone activated thru StraightTalk on Wed-Aug 10th.
Transfered service from previous phone:
Samsung Note 3-SM-N9005, version KitKat, 4.4.2, Build: KOT49H.N9005XXUENE3
bought on Amazon and Unlocked..

I can't connect to Google play store, browsers, the Google server for my Email and settings. Not sure whats wrong.
Did a reset today and wiped phone. When I turned back on, it did some kind of update (Not sure if it was the Lollipop upgrade or not).
I got the phone from my Son, it was his thru Verizon but he was done with contract and I needed this phone to connect with StraightTalk thru Verizon towers. Service is bad in the area where I live. In the country and not near major Chicago cities. He lived in city so I know it had no problem.

Not sure what else to do or how to go about fixing it. I never got into Rooting phones yet so that is not an option I want to do yet at this time.

The SM-N9005 is the 'world' version of the Note 3 LTE. It is different than the Verizon SM-N900V. They have similar hardware but are setup for different radio bands. The Verizon firmware (build) is NOT compatible with the SM-N9005.

Thank U for the reply. Things were working tho & I must have played with something. Now I have no data access at all. Using the WiFi on the N9005 for now.

Im trying to get the customer svce dept but on pc only. Cant call out on cel ?
