Country... better to know Sales Code aka CSC...

Example...
KOO is Korea... but seems Samsung Pay not work in Korea... :D :rolleyes:

Working country is for example... USA... with Sales Code aka CSC aka active CSC:

Valid allowed supported Credit Cards for Spay...

Because this is also 1 funtastic phenomenon... not all Cards are samsung Pay enabled as it seems... :rolleyes:

If you wish to try CSC change... then Combination firmware and Stock Firmware allready leaked... but nobody tested yet... IMHO...

But this means NOT... old tricks not work... :D

Combination FirmwareS to have Root access...

Stock Firmware to get back to """Normality"""

My suggestion is to check first if Reading and Backup work in CSA partition...

This could be done without play with Firmware...

Attempt to copy to PC:

GW3 stock firmware us

hi, anyone have access or know where can I download the official US rom for SM-R840.
By mistake I did the *#243203855# install KOO and not able to get it back to original firmware.

thanks for the quick reply, i have the combination, and the firmware, but missing the details on how to flash or edit the csc, never did that in the past,
can you please let me know if i need any tools or beside following the steps for command,

hello and can you describe to me how you managed to change the region. I want to change to the American one to have samsung pay but I don't know how to handle it. Please help.

I need S-pay on the GW3,
I know the previous generations of watches had S-pay pre-installed, Wonder why they left it out this time around. Hope someone soon figures a way out to change the CSC or even better Hope Samsung roles an update out with S-Pay installed

    Here is a transcription of the TechnoProz video, so all credits are going to TechnoProz.
    Please note that before applying this procedure you have to backup your phone as all data from phone will be erased.
    And please keep in mind that English is not my native language :).

    Change region - Samsung Galaxy Watch 3

    1) Prerequisites:
    a) The watch and laptop must be on the same WiFi network​
    b) Disables all Firewalls and all Antivirus programs on the laptop​
    c) The watch's battery must be fully charged so as not to have any surprises during the process​
    ​
    2) Check the existing model number on the watch:
    a) Settings / about watch / see now model number --- mine is SM-R840​

    3) Download from https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1AuiQhGDRh1nqrMZZCJOH5PHAGReKpbgo the following:
    a) COMBINATION-FT55_R840XXU1ATG3.tar.md5.7z​
    c) Stock Firmware SMR840.rar​
    d) WiFi_Net_Odin.zip​

    4) Unzip “COMBINATION-FT55_R840XXU1ATG3.tar.md5.7z” and get the file:
    a) COMBINATION-FT55_R840XXU1ATG3.tar.md5​
    b) Put the above file in a folder called “COMBINATION-FT55_R840XXU1ATG3.tar.md5”​

    5) Unzip “SDBstarterKidv1.zip” and get the following files:
    a) Guidelines_on_Connecting_GearS2_device_using_WiFi.pdf​
    b) Guidelines_on_Connecting_GearS2_device_using_WiFi_151222.pdf​
    c) sdb_2.2.60_macos-64.zip​
    d) sdb_2.2.60_ubuntu-32.zip​
    e) sdb_2.2.60_ubuntu-64.zip​
    f) sdb_2.2.60_windows-32.zip​
    g) sdb_2.2.60_windows-64.zip​
    h) put all these files in a folder called “SDBstarterKidv1”​

    6) Unzip the "sdb" file corresponding to the laptop's operating system, I will unzip the "windows-64" archive, and get the executable along with some related files:
    a) Install.bat​
    b) We put these files in a subfolder with the name of the operating system chosen, for me "Windows 64"​

    7) Unzip "Stock Firmware SMR840.rar", there are 3 ".7z" files that we unzip and get 3 files:
    a) AP_R840XXU1ATF3_usr.tar.md5​
    b) BL_R840XXU1ATF3_usr.tar.md5​
    c) CSC_OXA_R840OXA1ATF3_usr.tar.md5​
    d) Put the files in a folder called "Stock Firmware SMR840"​

    8) Unzip “WiFi_Net_Odin.zip” and get the executable together with some related files:
    a) NetOdin3.exe​
    b) Put the files in a folder called "WiFi_Net_Odin"​

    9) Make the following changes to the watch:
    a) Settings / about watch / software / click quickly many times on "Software version" until the message "Developer mode tuned on" appears​
    b) We take a step back and choose "Debugging mode" and go to "On", Debugging mode on "​
    c) Press the two buttons simultaneously, the first one at the bottom, and hold down the buttons until “Select REBOOT Mode” appears.​
    d) Select “Download (Wireless)” using the “power” button at the bottom.​
    e) Press and hold "power" until a star appears in the middle of the screen and the text "Wireless download, do not turn off target!!”​
    f) Double-click “power” to select “WPS mode”. Now the watch works as a hot-spot​
    g) We now search the laptop for available wireless networks and select RM-840 and connect it​

    10) Run "NetOdin3.exe", the program window opens.

    11) In Odin click on the “AP” button:
    a) Select from the folder “COMBINATION-FT55_R840XXU1ATG3.tar.md5.7z” the file:
    i) "COMBINATION-FT55_R840XXU1ATG3.tar.md5"
    b) We look at the watch screen and wait for the downloading process to complete.
    c) The watch will reboot

    12) On the watch:
    a) go to “Settings” / “Connections” / “WiFi” and choose “WiFi always ON”
    b) we go to “WiFi networks” / “Storm fiber” / “IP Address” and copy the IP address, we will need it later
    c) We do "Reboot" by long pressing the "Power" button, the one below. After Reboot the watch will be connected in the same WiFi network as the laptop.

    13) Go to the folder "SDBstarterKidv1", the subfolder corresponding to the operating system, to me "Windows 64":
    a) We open the "date”
    b) We open “tools”
    c) We run “ansicon.exe”
    d) In the window that appears:
    i) type the command: “sdb connect [IP address I copied before]” (square brackets will not appear in the command) followed by “Enter”, a confirmation message “connected to…” appears
    ii) press the command "sdb root on" followed by "Enter", a confirmation message "Switched to root account mode" appears
    iii) we type the command “sdb pull /csa/csc/csc-active-customer.inf” followed by “Enter”, a confirmation message appears and a new file called “csc-active-customer.inf” will appear in the subfolder
    iv) we type the command “sdb pull /csa/imei/prodcode.dat” followed by “Enter”, a confirmation message appears and a new file called “prodcode.dat” will appear in the subfolder
    v) Go back to subfolder window

    14) Open the file "csc-active-customer.inf" with notepad and edit the three letters of the country code, I want it to be US so the three letters will be "XAR". Save.     15) Open the file "prodcode.dat" with notepad and edit the last three letters, I want US so I will put "XAR". Save.

    16) Come back to "ansicon" window to send these last two files to the watch using the "push" commands:
    a) type the command “sdb push csc-active-customer.inf / csa / csc /” followed by “Enter”, a confirmation message appears
    b) we type the command “sdb push prodcode.dat / csa / imei /” followed by “Enter”, a confirmation message appears

    17) On the watch - reboot in download mode by simultaneously pressing the two buttons.
    a) Select "Download (Wireless)"
    b) Long press "power" until a star appears in the middle of the screen and the text "Wireless download, do not turn off target!!”
    c) Double-click "power" to select "WPS mode". Now the watch works as a hot-spot
    d) Search on the laptop for available wireless networks and select RM-840 and connect it
    e) Run "NetOdin3.exe", the program window opens.
    f) Enter the stock files in Odin from the “Stock Firmware SMR840” folder:
    i) AP_R840XXU1ATF3_usr.tar.md5
    ii) BL_R840XXU1ATF3_usr.tar.md5
    iii) CSC_OXA_R840OXA1ATF3_usr.tar.md5

    18) Start the flashing process by pressing the "Start" button in Odin. Wait for the process to finish and the watch will reboot

    19) We now have a watch with stock firmware for the US and we will be able to see the "Samsung Pay" application installed.

    Slovenia... As I know official Samsung pay is not available in Slovenia... But also google pay is not available and I installed it on my phone and it is working great :)
