Guys, I am in Romania and I need an advice from you.

My phone, Galaxy S10+ is like this:
AP: G975FXXU9DTJA
CP: G975FXXU9DTJA
CSC: G975FOXM9DTJB
Model: SM-G975F/DS

My galaxy watch 3 is like this:
AP: R840XXU1BTG6
CP: no phone
CSC: R840 0XA 1BTG6
Model: SM-R840

If I shall change for UK, both phone and watch I shall have Samsung Pay functional with Curve card?
Or is better to change for US?
Thanks.

Here is a transcription of the TechnoProz video, so all credits are going to TechnoProz.
Please note that before applying this procedure you have to backup your phone as all data from phone will be erased.
And please keep in mind that English is not my native language :).

Change region - Samsung Galaxy Watch 3

1) Prerequisites:
a) The watch and laptop must be on the same WiFi network
b) Disables all Firewalls and all Antivirus programs on the laptop
c) The watch's battery must be fully charged so as not to have any surprises during the process
2) Check the existing model number on the watch:
a) Settings / about watch / see now model number --- mine is SM-R840

3) Download from https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1AuiQhGDRh1nqrMZZCJOH5PHAGReKpbgo the following:
a) COMBINATION-FT55_R840XXU1ATG3.tar.md5.7z
c) Stock Firmware SMR840.rar
d) WiFi_Net_Odin.zip

4) Unzip “COMBINATION-FT55_R840XXU1ATG3.tar.md5.7z” and get the file:
a) COMBINATION-FT55_R840XXU1ATG3.tar.md5
b) Put the above file in a folder called “COMBINATION-FT55_R840XXU1ATG3.tar.md5”

5) Unzip “SDBstarterKidv1.zip” and get the following files:
a) Guidelines_on_Connecting_GearS2_device_using_WiFi.pdf
b) Guidelines_on_Connecting_GearS2_device_using_WiFi_151222.pdf
c) sdb_2.2.60_macos-64.zip
d) sdb_2.2.60_ubuntu-32.zip
e) sdb_2.2.60_ubuntu-64.zip
f) sdb_2.2.60_windows-32.zip
g) sdb_2.2.60_windows-64.zip
h) put all these files in a folder called “SDBstarterKidv1”

6) Unzip the "sdb" file corresponding to the laptop's operating system, I will unzip the "windows-64" archive, and get the executable along with some related files:
a) Install.bat
b) We put these files in a subfolder with the name of the operating system chosen, for me "Windows 64"

7) Unzip "Stock Firmware SMR840.rar", there are 3 ".7z" files that we unzip and get 3 files:
a) AP_R840XXU1ATF3_usr.tar.md5
b) BL_R840XXU1ATF3_usr.tar.md5
c) CSC_OXA_R840OXA1ATF3_usr.tar.md5
d) Put the files in a folder called "Stock Firmware SMR840"

8) Unzip “WiFi_Net_Odin.zip” and get the executable together with some related files:
a) NetOdin3.exe
b) Put the files in a folder called "WiFi_Net_Odin"

9) Make the following changes to the watch:
a) Settings / about watch / software / click quickly many times on "Software version" until the message "Developer mode tuned on" appears
b) We take a step back and choose "Debugging mode" and go to "On", Debugging mode on "
c) Press the two buttons simultaneously, the first one at the bottom, and hold down the buttons until “Select REBOOT Mode” appears.
d) Select “Download (Wireless)” using the “power” button at the bottom.
e) Press and hold "power" until a star appears in the middle of the screen and the text "Wireless download, do not turn off target!!”
f) Double-click “power” to select “WPS mode”. Now the watch works as a hot-spot
g) We now search the laptop for available wireless networks and select RM-840 and connect it

Hi guys. I am in a bit different situation. I live in the Czech Republic. I have a Note10+ bought in the Czech Republic. My Watch 3 was bought in Italy (Samsung Pay works in Italy) thus I have Samsung Pay installed on my Watch 3. I have installed Samsung Gear on my phone and tried to add my Curve card via Samsung Gear app. It was refused. So I have changed my place of live to Italy in Google Play (yes the feature you can change only once a year) but that did not work as well. Next thing I have tried was to install a paid VPN on my phone and set it to Italy. No luck again.
My last try was to setup a new Samsung Account where the location would be set as Italy. I have tried to set it with VPN on, with data off (connected via wifi), GPS location off and still the location in the new account was automaticaly set to Czech Republic.
I am out of any ideas now. Any suggestions what to try next?
Thanks

It's not the application but supported cards and countries, have a look at:
Customer Support - Samsung Pay (Watch)
Whatever credit card you have must be from the list of countries they show, select the country then view the supported banks...

I have the Samsung Pay on my watch but it's useless unfortunately because my credit card/bank isn't supported/compatible...

Curve card supports Samsung Pay for UK customers only. To see if the credit card you add to the curve card is from the UK, they check if the postal code consists of 5 numerical digits. So to have a foreign card accepted make sure you enter a postal code of 5 numerical digits when you add the card to Curve, and that it is chosen as your primary card for Curve.
If you then add the Curve card to Samsung Pay, it will be accepted and you can use Samsung Pay.

None of my cards are curve, they're credit/debit cards, Samsung website listed the support banks for those cards...

But @libor_m has a curve card, and you replied to his post, so I replied to yours. I should have replied to his post, that would have been better, I guess.
My tip for you: take a curve card and add your credit card to it with my post in mind.

My country doesn't have curve cards though eh and I have no interest in Samsung pay, forgive me if I sound rude but I don't know what to say, I shared a Samsung official link of supported Samsung pay methods hoped it would help and you shared your knowledge about curve cards, thank you for that... the info is valuable for those who need Samsung pay... have a good day...

    @Veles128

All I know is Samsung increased Security in Tizen 5.5...

But this means NOT... old tricks not work... :D

In theory all leaked what """we""" need.

Combination FirmwareS to have Root access...

Stock Firmware to get back to """Normality"""

My suggestion is to check first if Reading and Backup work in CSA partition...

This could be done without play with Firmware...

    Attempt to copy to PC:
    Code:
    sdb pull /csa/csc/csc-active-customer.inf

    Code:
    sdb pull /csa/imei/prodcode.dat

    Attempt to show only:

    Code:
    sdb shell

    Code:
    cat /csa/csc/csc-active-customer.inf

    Code:
    cat /csa/imei/prodcode.dat

Try and see if this is working...

Maybe Samsung protected CSA again like in old Gear S2 times... :D

    Best Regards

    I need S-pay on the GW3,
I know the previous generations of watches had S-pay pre-installed, Wonder why they left it out this time around. Hope someone soon figures a way out to change the CSC or even better Hope Samsung roles an update out with S-Pay installed
