Samsung Pay works out of the box for both my dual sim Note 10+ and S10+. Both are from the UAE (XSG). Im using it with a USA card. However, there will be no USA points & promotions. , which are showing UAE promotions.
Good day,

I would like to buy the Note + 10 N9760 dual sim , but , the Samsung Pay App. doesn't work in this Chinese model, and this issue stopping me to buy it.
But what if the rom of "Samsung's Galaxy Note10+ 5G (Verizon) SM-N976V " will be installed in the Note + 10 N9760 dual sim?
if am not wrong both of the use the same Snapdragon 855 , am I right ?
do you know if someone already changed the room ?

thanks to all and be safe.

Would like to know the same, i have the N9750 here in Austria, and was thinking to try any international firmware from a Snapdragon device

But the N9760 is the only 5G DualSim phone, so the N976V is SingleSim ... dont think this will work!4

You are right, one is dual and the other one sim only, but if am I not wrong , when I had the note 2 , this operating was possible.
unfortunately since that time I am no longer playing with odin and other staff,
and now I am getting again involved because I would like to switch from my note 8 dual sim to the new note 10+ 5g dual sim.

thanks again and be safe

I just got my note 10+ SM-N975F-/DS about a week ago. I set up Samsung Pay without a problem here in the U.S.. I bank with USAA and card was succesfully accepted. Haven't tried it at a store yet though. If I act like im going to pay with it, it starts vibrating and the usual steps to pay at a terminal. So I assume its working properly. Guess Ill have to check it out tomorow.

Good evening,
yes, the Note 10+ SM-N975F/DS has no problem with Samsung Pay, unfortunately the Note 10+ 5G SM-N9760/DS is not compatible internationally by using Samsung Pay app.
by the way congratulation for your beautiful Note 10 + dual sim.

I got the same model and I can't get Samsung pay to work! It tells me "Can't use Samsung Pay'" Samsung pay is not supported on this device. But Google Pay works! Model SM-N975F/DS

like I said i havent tried at a pay terminal but my card is added and i can swipe it up from home screen, authenticate, and it starts vibrating transmitting the signal. Will have to try the next couple of days and report back.

I get that..samsung pay wouldn't even let me get that far. I'm just trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong or if it had something to do with the set up when I first got the phone. I would like samsung pay to work if not it wouldn't be a total deal breaker because I have the gear watch. I'm gonna do a factory reset later and see if i can change some things while at the set up screen.

and that's what I would suggest is doing a factory reset and starting from scratch.

May I ask what is reason to use Samsung Pay instead of Google Pay?
Main difference is that Samsung Pay can use MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) technology to push the magnetic stripe data from your card to the terminal, Google Pay can't take advantage of this technology as far as I'm aware.

Also it may be the case of someone owning a Galaxy Watch/Watch active etc. If memory serves correctly, the watch uses the Samsung Pay app from the device so if you can't install it on your phone you can't install it on your watch either.

Is anyone else here still able to use MST payments while using a variant not meant for their home country?

For the past month or two, my SM-N9750 (Hong Kong) will not work with MST here in Canada. Prior to that, I would use MST every week, especially with my SM-G9650 (S9+, Hong Kong).

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
I wanted to post an update regarding MST transactions in Canada.

They stopped working for me last year, and as it turns out, it was due to my credit card and not the phone.

FYI, the credit card that stopped working with MST was a Scotiabank Momentum Visa.

The only other supported Visa card that I was finally able to add to Samsung Pay and try was from CIBC...and...it worked!

I'm a happy camper once again.
