Once again nice video. Regarding the micro stutter:
my current culprit is VRR regarding this topic. had the same "problems" with the last gen LTPOs with adaptive Resfreshrates. Also the videos of this years flagships show the same behaviour.

Do you have any chance to test if the screenresolution of genshin or any other game changes when turning gos on or off ?

I can! Hmf the VRR is a possible reason, you know what, let me test it fixed refresh rate, there is Galaxy mhz app.

I will report back:)

Looking forward to this. Can't be much of help as the current updatet bricked GPUWatch for me. Values never dropping unter 70% CPU AND GPU - while idleing on the homescreen .... paired with sof reboots...
The best the biggest Android OEM has to offer.... sad times

Gpuwatch is buggy in it's current version. You should disable it, reboot your phone and don't activate it again til Samsung fixes it. Report it in the members app.

Here it is...

March update - 60 min - burn this phone down! Or not? :)

So it has been a while... 4 months or something... and now we already have 10 stable firmware updates for the S22 Ultra (Exynos 2200) version.

I had to do this one more time and see what has changed, did anything change? Was it for good or on the contrary?

Well, I have to say, I was surprised!

Hey mate Thank you for your work :) seems like the exynos made good progress. Sadly we cant change the Modem.

Overall it seems that Samsung is optimizing the exynos more and more and dont Do something about the snapdragon which runs a bit Götter than other soc...

Samsung S22 Ultra vs S21 Ultra Exynos 2200 vs 2100 CPU Throttling Test!
    Samsung S22 Ultra 12GB/256GB vs Samsung S21 Ultra 12GB/256GB
Barebone setup (no apps, no SIM card, no gestures, FHD+ resolution)

This is the Samsung S22 Ultra software out of the box (January Security Patch)
There is a more recent firmware update (March Security Patch) and I will do additional testing when I get it

Guys, not related to throttling but another interesting topic - Refresh Rates in S22 Ultra and S21 Ultra - the common things and differences in terms of operations I have found + does my S22 Ultra go really as low as 1 Hz?

    3
The refresh rate test is very interesting. So in theory the s22u should have better battery life.

I tested the Auto FPS features on the back & front camera. Auto FPS is supposed to reduce the FPS while recording video for the sake of capturing more light, the phone is supposed to manage this.

    So the findings recap is:
    - I show 4K UHD 60 FPS on the back & front cameras
    - Auto FPS OFF - 60 FPS steady - checked video meta data
    - Auto FPS ON - Video captures more light - FPS is 24 steady - doesnt vary too much
    - Same behavior observed on both cameras

Check the video for full details
