Hello

I have this problem with my second samsung s7 black sm930F (SM-G930FZKAXEF) the phone works perfectly but after some 362 (*UPDATE NOW AFTER 162 HOURS )hours of function I get "emergency calls only " only phone restart or phone flight mode return to normal network mode and this bug is annoying because is a software problem ( tried everything replace nano sim several times no luck, turn data mobile off and on no luck either) the nano sim is perfectly inserted the phone works perfect but after that amount of hours when i pass areas with poor signal and go back to the ones with very good signal I have the latest update....

maybe you guys have the same problem

wait for update and fix

I had a similar problem on my rooted G930F after moving away from the initial stock rom that came with the phone. I found that the issue improved after using Odin to flash the May phone/CSC from Sanmobile then re-installing my current custom rom.

If you aren't familiar with Odin then maybe wait for an update from your operator, otherwise the other option is to find the corresponding rom at:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G930F/ - then flash it with odin using one of the many Odin guides on the interwebs

Did u try a factory reset? I am assuming you using the phone with a sim card that is country specific. For example if I buy the phone from India then I need to use an Indian sim card for sometime and only then I can use another country sim card.

the phone is french model sm930f neverlocked it's no difference because is european model so i'm in europe only in a different country......for ex I had a s6 sm920f french and use it in the same country that i'm using this s7 and was working perfectly.....your ex is like this if I want to use this european model in us,asia, russia, yes even in the manual it's say that you must first use it with a european sim an talk the first 5 min........

yes I did try a network reset today

I had the first s7 that was produce from my country and have the same issue..........

Great. Rather than network reset try factory reset. If still does not work, take it to a service center they would reload the entire firmware without tripping knox.

I have never had.. however I do restart my phone once a week. 362 hours without restarting is really long on time.

on my old s6 1400 hours without any problems was a piece of cake so you will never had this problem with your phone if you restarted weekly........

To me this sounds like the device has been blocked or is a hardware issue. If you have not rooted or messed with the software on any way then it is the only explination .

it's my second new device so it cannot be a hardware it could be a software problem....what is your device up time and have you encountered this issue ?

i have reset network settings and wait to see if it will happen again I will do a full factory reset.... i have spoken with my network provider to verify this issue

on my oldest device samsung s6 even after 1400 hours this issue emergency call only never appeared

still wait to see if software updates will fix I cannot change my phone again it will be the third device :)

If you PM me your serial number and IMEI I will check the status of the device. If all is okay then I can proceed to look into ways of fixing it.
