No need to downgrade, I have Nougat 7.1 with FRP lock, upgrade it to Oreo 8.1 then FRP unlock without any problem
This combination and unlock file work with Oreo and Nougat firmware
link removed as I do not have enough post count yet
These two files are around 2GB, work with Nougat or Oreo firmware.

1- Boot to download Mode ( Power + Volume Down + Home )
2- Flash the combination file first with Odin 3.13 in AP slot ( Older version of Odin will fail to flash ). You device will boot to Factory Mode after flashing successfully.
3- Boot to download mode again, then flash the FRP unlock file in AP slot.
After flashing and reboot, your FRP lock will be gone.
If you don't know your firmware version, boot to Recovery Mode ( Power + Volume Up + Home ), the build version will be at the top.
If you do something wrong in Download Mode, don't panic, Power + Volume Down will exit this mode. Many don't know how except pulling out the battery cable.

I started with the Nougat build RF1, upgraded to Oreo RK5 to unlock FRP.
The last 3 characters of the build will tell year and month of release
RF1 ( R=18, F= 6 ) = version 1 released on June 18., Nougat OS
RK5 ( R= 18, K = 11 ) = version 5 released on Nov 18 , Oreo OS

This Oreo build RK5 is US version but the unlock files will work with any region as Samsung tablets sold anywhere , all having the same mainboard, firmware will be customized for certain region.

Update:
I have a tab A with Nougat 7.0 build QL1 , factory reset in Recovery Mode to trigger the FRP lock, then use the combination and FRP unlock, it will unlock FRP and the firmware will be RJ9 of Oreo. The tablet will update to the current RK5 by itself via wifi, around 107MB.
So don't need to upgrade firmware if you are having Nougat with FRP lock.

this worked! thank you

I googled for hours and hours and spend days trying a lot of complicated steps and could not believe how easy it ended up being with above steps

Thanks again Beut

Dear XDA Community,
I address you as I am stuck with a Samsung SM-T580 tablet which is lock by FRP. I have read two threads here and tried some other resources but there is nothing I can do so far: the tablet is locked and there is no way I can install a BL, custom ROM, TWRP. I have read from Beut that FRP is a joke and that the protection can be circumvent in 10 minutes. I would be grateful if someone could give some hint on how to proceed. Oh yes my tablet is running Android 8 (8.1?) and localized in Germany. Thanks and a nice day!
edit 1: I just flashed a combination file: first step is a success, I access now the factory mode.

Indeed FRP is removed

Well, I can say a huge thank you to Beut. That was perfectly correct: FRP protection can be removed in 10 minutes. Follow the instructions. Now I like to ask a question and I hope it is not off topic. After flashing the cobination firmware the tablet starts in the factory binary mode. In this mode I see that my tablet has 32GB. Once Android 8.1 installed the system sees only 16GB. Any idea of what went wrong?
Have a nice day!

The combination files uses 32GB userdata.img to overwrite the one with FRP lock. After a flashing stock image , you should get back the correct internal storage.

I just used this method, it worked, thanks :)

Do you have any recommendation on a stock rom to overwrite these flashed files with, or what action I should take to get it back to as "stock" as possible, if that makes sense?
Or will it offer an update through it's own update center once I connect it to wifi?

You are free to flash any stock firmware you like as mainboard is the same one regardless regions.
Sammobile is the source to look for firmwares.
Load BL, AP, and CS file to Odin ( latest version ) then it takes only 5 minutes to have your choice of stock firmware.
The files used to unlock are US firmware so the tablet will update via Wifi to the latest firmware of US region. In case your tablet is not from US, flash the correct firmware of your region, I think it's not necessary but this is a personal choice.

I've found the rom I want, but there's some issues with reCaptcha at the moment, so I can't download it yet, I'll try it again later.

I'm pretty noobish in this regard, so I hope you won't mind if I ask some dumb questions.

From what you wrote I take it that whatever does the work in the unlocked rom basically sets a toggle to unlock it, not that it's a software "fix" that needs to be kept on, that might switch back if a "normal" rom is flashed?

Can you elaborate on what's different in this rom from a stock rom that allows it to take off the FRP lock?

Thanks for your time :)

P.S.: should I use the Odin that was included in the unlock archive, or download and use the version that's recommended at Sammobile? Do I run a risk of flipping the Knox security bit?

If your tablet is US, no need to do anything because the files used to unlock is US firmware . After unlock, your tablet is Android 8 , it will update to the latest available firmware
You won’t strip Knox when flashing stock firmware ( original one from Samsung )
Stock firmware is the one customized for certain region, like UK and US firmwares, they’re identical but the difference is language option
Anyway, where is your region ?

I'm in the Netherlands, which has a specific rom on Sammobile, the reCaptha was fixed so I've downloaded it now :)

You’re ok to flash with the latest Odin, it won’t strip the Knox as long as you flash the stock firmware from your region

Sorry for the late reply again, I can only login from work, and I'm away often.

The latest Odin would be the one they recommend there right? I hope I understood that right, cuz I'm about to try ;)

Thanks for taking the time to help out. :)

Edit: Looks like it worked, I've got Dutch by default again, thanks much!

Anyone still updating this?

I just used Odin to flash the pl4 firmware on to my T580. Odin successfully flashed it then my T580 screen went to vertical green bars and basically a black screen.

I can hear the tablet screen responding with the touch sounds but damn near everything is black.

Any thoughts or did I brick the damn thing?

Black screen is common of this model. You just need to reseat the LCD cable and apply two tapes, vertically or horizontally at the LCD connector to secure this long lcd cable.
Don't forget one more tape at the center of battery

Would this be the problem though immediately after using Odin to flash the new firmware? Everything was successful on Odin, the tablet restarted itself and the screen immediately went to the long lines. If I play with the power button enough sometimes I'll sometimes get a distorted ghost like image of the download screen. I didn't drop it or bump it, the display was working fine before Odin then went to hell immediately afterwards.

I'll still try what you posted and see how it goes from there. Thanks Beut

It doesn’t be dropped, the flexibility of lcd will cause the cable to be pulled out of connector. Common problem of this model.

Hello. I need your help.
I have a samsung galaxy tab A 2016 SM-P580, originally from France.
I flashed with odin to 8.1 stock rom (France) But, I didnt pass the FRP Lock page (owner gmail account)
I followed your instructions as above. But, it failed to flash the combination file with odin.
I think, my device binary number is different than others.
On the odin downloading mode page, writes this: "RP SWREV: B:1 K:0 S:0"
As I understood; my device binary version is 1
So, what can I do ? Can I find the FRP unlock files for Binary 1 ?
Thanks in advance...

I'm about to give my SM-T580 a go at putting TWRP and flashing the Pie rom on it because the stock firmware eats up way too much of the storage.

    This one works with the latest build from PL4 to QC2 ( P= 2016, Q= 2017 ) , Android 6 ; not work with Android 7
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xo9uJDDuSxw

Try it, if you can get the Assist then it will work as you can open Chrome to download Google Account Manager to add you own Google account and do the factory reset or just keep it as you are the owner now, taking full control of the tablet.

---------- Post added at 09:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:04 PM ----------

If you can go to Setting and enable the OEM Unlock, you're not FRP lock and in owner account.
FRP ( Factory Reset Protection ) is a secured method from Google prevents anyone to continue in the settings without passing the verified account steps.
Without the previous synced account ID and password, it will keep you in a loop in the setting steps.
Obviously it is to late for the OP to change to "OEM enable" setting. I was merely pointing out the cause of the problem. But it also seemed apparent that the Google account settings are unknown.
I bought a tablet on eBay that had this problem and was able to get it working using Samsung Smart Switch run from a PC connected to the tablet in the download mode.

The latest build QC2 from US can bypass easily by Google Account Manager app, I believe it will work with your build.

Yep, it WORKED ! ;) I'm really grateful, I was losing hope. Thank you so much !

You only need to load BL, AP, and CSC, ignore the HOME_CSC, but it seems you're flashing the Android 7 build from Germany which no method works.
You need to downgrade to Android 6, region doesn't matter for the purpose of bypass FRP. When it's done, flash back to your original region in Android 7.
Cellular South PL4 is the build you can downgrade and bypass FRP.
