Yeah, I installed the first version of Good Lock and it was fine. Uninstalled it shortly after until the next update.

There is no way to uninstall the app from the Galaxy Apps store; the only option is to update it. My Apps does not show Good Lock as installed. I've tried clearing cache, re-enabling all my disabled apps, rebooting several times without much success. I am not the only apparently as several others are having the issue and posting about it on reddit. Hopefully this can be fixed with an update. Don't really want to factory reset to get Good Lock working.
Okay. It's not really an app, not like other apps anyhow. It's a substitute for some basic system UIs that are already in place as part of Android (lock screen, notification shade, recent apps).

I am aware of what good lock is. My post is about getting it to work. I've found out I can install the app and use the phone without a SIM card in it.

I've been using it for a couple of days and I haven't noticed any drain from it

Good Lock is Sammie's way of doing trial runs of future approaches on the base of current devices.
I tried it. It's clunky at best but does have a few redeeming features. Still, I removed it after one day of messing around with it.

It needs a lot of work.
The color control is simply a s s.

B T W, you need to uninstall it from within the app itself. Not intuitive but also not buried or hidden. It's right there to see.

Totally agree with u. But im kinda getting used to it. With nova launger and a few gestures, i kinda get the feeling of using an aosp rom which we ming never get. :)

Been seeing a lot mentioned about this app so I finally decided to give it a try. First impressions are really good! Like what it has to offer ... Will give it a go for a while and see how it treats me!

Tried it......for 5 minutes i prefer being able to use samsung themes like 'blue and black AMOLED' theme. Good Lock does not have a black option in routine options
Does anyone know if GoodLock will use the standard themes eventually. I like some of the GoodLock features, but the color scheme for it is hideous.

Supposedly. They've updated basically added everything people asked for, so I can't imagine why they wouldn't do a dark theme or add theme support. That's just a bit harder to add so it will take time. (I'd assume that's what the delay is.) Like I said, supposedly.

No root, no custom roms. But at least I have Good Lock. It changes several elements, and it is slightly buggy (not too much), so it almost feels like I installed a custom rom. My lock screen has widgets and excessive amounts of shortcuts, the notification icons look like stock Android, the notification shade looks like Android N, notifications can be put in folders (huh?), and WTF just happened to my recent apps screen???

Yup, kind of fun.
