Try this.

1. restore a froyo 2.2.2 nandroid (system only)
2. flash FROYO-fixed-CG31-version-6.sbf

Fully useless i think, i ve fully restored my NAND at the state before the backup (all partitions md5sums checked) and even after this, there is no way to boot or to reinstall an "old" sbf.

That means something is set elsewhere, maybe in another chip like the phone or in another eeprom

Hi there!

I think I've found a way to downgrade it, but I need someone to test, since I don't want to lock my phone.

So let's go...
- Root your phone and install Defy 2ndInit 2.0, BootMenu 1.0.7 (Latest Version).
- Download the following file: http://ul.to/kalqzsn2
- Extract the folder "backtofroyo" inside your "clockworkmod/backup" folder.
- Boot into CWM and perform a full wipe.
- Then choose Advanced Restore, select the backup of the Froyo Rom you want back, and select Restore system. (You may also restore your data partition if you want)
- Now, also inside Advanced Restore, choose "backtofroyo" and restore recovery and boot too.
- Once it's done reboot your pressing VolUP so that you enter programming mode.
- Open RSDLite and flash the Fixed SBF inside the file you've downloaded, named backtofroyo.sbf.

If everything goes well you should reboot into Froyo; at least the very same idea worked for me to go back from Froyo to Eclair. Hope it helps!

No data connection fix

I found a fix for this rom for all those who like me after flashing this ROM had no data connectivity and no ability to manually edit their APN settings(couldn't save them)

This only works if the rom is deodexed .

If not first flash this: deodexed framework and system app update.zip via CWM.

Edit :there are two fix files .Use the first (apn_fix.zip) if you deodexed your rom and didnt add the reboot option in your power menu .Use the second one (apn_fix_with_reboot.zip) if you installed the mentioned above deodexed framework and system app update.zip ,that is if you have a reboot option in your power menu.

Apply via CWM.

Did anybody find a way to make the camera work on green lenses? I really liked this ROM, but missed the camera. Greenbreadmod makes it unbootable and needed to reflash a Froyo SBF to make it turn on again.

after flashing this sbf and the deodex from spear with 1% steps my battery only charges to 95% thats what the circle in the statusbar says...but turning device off the battery symbol shoes 100%

Bug? What to do? Fine the way it is?
