Could you try to install this (root) via Motorola Recovery. View attachment root4defy134.zip
This works for old 4.5.1-134-DFP-74 gingerbread rom.
Maybe you have to rename the file to update.zip

It's probably true, but it will only help you if you are in China and you find a good technician who can unlock it for you....

For a couple of hundred thousand dollars, I would have bought a couple of hundreds of new phones.
No technician will jeopardize his job for a couple of thanks on xda. That's the truth. You must read, find a solution yourself, wait for someone to find that solution for you or buy another phone...... sorry you are trapped. I was in your situation too for a couple of months than the solution popped up. Patience and good luck

Kernel downgrade:
You need a "fixed" sbf. Only with CG35.smg.
Try attached sbf. (4.5.1-134-DFP-132 kernel)
If it not work you have to flash the 188 sbf again.1
