I flashed the full of this rom but am having problems with the rooting.
I have turned on usb debugging and turned usb mode to none

Spent some time playing and the rom feels very fast, just I can't get it rooted 
It crashes the program so I can't get full details but setp 1 and step 2 show rm failed for /data/local/tmp/boomsh...

I've done all said in the tutorial and my Defy didn't boot, so I have flashed after the whole SBF. Now it runs, but i can't root it with the SuperOneClick. Anyone knows how can i do it ?

Any chance of someone posting the battd file here that makes the LED go from red to white to green to off as the battery is charging and then reaches a full charge? Can't remember which ROM does this.

Here you go.. unzip and use root explorer to paste file with the correct permission as the original file.Any chance of someone posting the battd file here that makes the LED go from red to white to green to off as the battery is charging and then reaches a full charge? Can't remember which ROM does this.
Reboot after replaced the file.

i can't install any MIUI on 2nd boot using recovery, it stuck at MOTO logo...

multiboot wont work! diff kernel!
u can flaah it on it but i think u need to wipe data and flash froyo kernel

Thanks for the file... but it doesn't make the LED come on at all while charging. I set the permissions as per the original and rebooted, without any joy... wonder why?
It was the same in mine but worked after a couple of reboot. Your battery must be below 95% for the phone to triggered the charging process, above 95% to 100% is assumed full charged. Below 10% red led will light during charging instead of white. 10% - 95% would be the normal white during charging.
