Bell Atrix running OLYEM U4 1.4.2.
CONFIRMED: HSUPA enabled.
Anyone notice this when flashing this on their bell phones?!

Super impressed with the upload speed :D :D :D :D
This is definately a step up from regular 0.3 upload speed. Got me 1.2mbps++!
The only bummer is that I'm on Fido so i have this huge crappy text on my bar,
"CAN Rogers Wireless"

Can't wait for root.

Update: PICS - not the best signal but deff upload unlocked baby

DOWNLOAD Link for the SBF: http://www.multiupload.com/VFN6AD9IUD - Pass 12345

My atrix default language is "Korean"
So korean appeared. Please refer "HSPA" character.

I envy your wonderful upload speed. :)

I lived in korea and our service provider SKTelecom support HSPA.

but they limit max upload speed to 0.5Mbps....

My S/w version is

"OLSKT_U4.1.14.0" (Korea SKTelcom localizing S/W)

Yeah, download speed is not bad, but upload speed is poor...:(

but, this is not a atrix problem, our carrier speed limit problem..

Root achieved already by some users. Investigating further, and if anything I'll turn this thready into the guide and how to..
Great, thanks. I saw superoneclick used but remember it had caused problems in the past. I'm wondering if the beforeupdate.bat method would reliably work?

I didn't know which threat to post this in.

Flashed the SBF to Bell Atrix on the Bell network.

Previously, the dl/ul speeds were both pretty brutal, and I was sure Bell was to blame as I just ported from Fido. Anyway, here are the results :D

I'm heading into work, so I will try rooting when I get there. Maybe some other results as well.

Edit : Before flashing, my speeds were hovering around 2000-3000kbps down, and 500kbps up.

Omg, that is the fastest I have seen. Where are you located? Was it the telstra sbf? Any other modifications?

I've heard reports that root succeeds.

I'm thinking that I might give this a go tonight... but then again I may just hold out and see if Bell releases a native update.

I'm in Vancouver, BC. Yes, this was the Telstra SBF. So far it seems pretty snappy.

I'm going to try some rooting methods in a bit and get back to you guys :D

Im in Van also (well, BBY) and I think I am going to give this a try. I have a nandroid backup of my current Bell rom so I can always go back if I have any issues.....that is if I can manage to root the Telstra rom and get to CWM lol.
